I did this for the iPad so I thought I'd do the same thing for the iPhone 4 that arrived this afternoon.
Delivery: A day early from the same burly FedEx woman who makes all our deliveries.... she's super nice and very funny....
Synch: phone synched with iTunes with no problem, registration (optional) and the synch with the old iPhone 3G backup took 2-3 minutes
Activation: called 611 on my old iPhone, ATT recognized that I'd ordered a new phone, asked if I wanted to activate, with a couple of presses of the 1 key the old phone shut down and the new iPhone 4 activated - elapsed time maybe 2 minutes.
Email/Calendar: iPhone asked for account passwords, once supplied everything worked great including synch with corporate calendar and email (along with other email accounts in a unified inbox).
Stacks: the iOS 4 OS lets you stack apps into folders, super easy, you can take the default name (category i.e. Games) or input a folder name.
Performance: like to iPad, super fast, no delay or lag at all.... we'll see how that progresses, I've not turned off my iPad since I opened it and it still has no lag, give the same processor and twice the memory I have high expectations from the iPhone 4
Screen: unbelievable
That's all for now.... as I play with it more I'll let you know.
