Why are these UFO guys always a bit eccentric. I do believe they exist, but the guys that get up on the podium are always a bit off. Any hoo, so what. If they were threatening to wipe us out like in the visitor.. I expect they would probably let us know we were in trouble first...and if they don't not much we can do about it = no worries.

I was watching that tv show UFO Hunters last night which involved interviewing a military air controller and a military pilot regarding a sighting back in 1975 (I think it was '75, don't remember for sure).
Eccentric? Sure, some sightings are reported by Clem and Festus, who sit on their rocking chairs with their 7 teeth (in total) and shotguns. Then there are the ones reported by military pilots and ground controllers. And, of course, there's the famous Rendelsham Forest Incident in which a full bird Colonel did much of the investigation himself. In my view, a Colonel in the US Air Force is probably not one to make up shit.

UFO sightings have increased in China in recent months, but one such sighting in September prompted an airport to shut down to prevent aircraft from crashing into the object, media reports said this week.
The airport is located in Baotou in Inner Mongolia, and three flights that were arriving had to circle around the airport to wait until the UFO disappeared, according to UK newspaper The Sun.
This incident was the eighth report of a UFO sighting in China in the past four months.
