That's because it's not real lobster, probably the fake crab meat (made for vegans) you can buy in supermarkets.
If you say it is for vegans, is it a non fish product? I thought the fake crab meat was made from cheap fish like pollock and the meat is compressed to give it the consistency of crab meat.

More infantile crap. You are an idiot. let me remind you what you wrote:

Why don't you provide some evidence? Let me guess: you pulled this nonsense out of your ass.
OK, OK.............. so I will bring the lobster fisherman wearing a Sou'Wester so that he can testify on my behalf. Shall we say 10 ish tomorrow morning?

BTW- What I say is not nonsense, what come out of your mouth often smells like it comes out of your ass.
I am humoring you at this time, but I would urge others not even to bother wasting their time on you.

Have it your way, if you believe they use the liveliest, freshest lobsters to boil in the pot to make you frozen lobster tails. Then that is the way it must be.

BTW- I never said that second or third rate veggies make you sick, it is a matter of economics that the pizza guy buys lesser grade veggies because looks does not matter when it is sliced up and going into a pizza. Just as it is necessary for the lobster fisherman to sell the dead lobster and the ones missing a claw for a lesser price to be processed into tails to make some profit instead of a loss.
I would not doubt. Anyone who believes, fast food industries would serve the finest and best premium foods at a great value and not wanting to maximize profits is very naive.

It would look better on you if you admitted that you pulled this nonsense out of your ass. For your information, frozen lobster tails are generally not from maine lobsters, but from spiny crustaceans that have no large claw.

danmand,

It is just easier if I do not argue with you and join with the others and sign off on you,so that I do not have to put up with your circular logic.

Lobster is currently dirt cheap in NB, NS and PEI .
I don't eat lobster so I don't know prices. But why is lobster cheap right now? I thought lobster catches have been depleting for years.

My point (although sarcastically) exactly. These guys have built a huge business. I think they know a little more than Petzel about what will sell/make profit.
Good point about the mayo. Maybe you do get a few chunks of meat....ask them to go easy on the mayo when they make your order...also the bun is very doughy! I had a few down east...

I think lobster is one of the most overrated things, if I am down east I will usually eat them but otherwise I could care less. I am certainly not going to Ronnies to eat lobster.

Evidently the lobster stocks came back, to the point where there is an over abundance. The Canadian lobster fishermen are getting pissed off because the Americans are sending lobsters up here under free trade.

I imagine the lobster and mayo are already mixed so it would be too hard for them to do a special different order.

One of the main themes, or arguably features, of US-style capitalism is making things that the rich enjoy available to the masses.

Starbucks is a perfect example of this.

For a lot of folks, that McLobster sandwich will be the closest they come to having lobster.

I don't think people on this board, those with funds to see SPs, are the target demographic.

If you buy your lobsters at a sea food store. Go ask the guy that sells live lobster, he will tell you. The large grocery stores will sometimes have live as well as boiled whole lobsters. You can be sure they take a look in the tank for the ones that are not moving or are not to lively to boil for you.
Hey Destillat:

Adding to Ceiling Cat's comments, the evidence you're seeking can be found in various "research" studies by consumer food groups across North America and elsewhere. Think about what goes into a hot dog, for example. In this case, dying or recently died lobsters being brought to shore with the live ones are still fresh in the sense that they aren't rotting or pose a threat to human (e.g. are poisonous). So it'd be common sense for "capitalist" food manufacturers to utilize everything -- again like most wiener manufacturers would do -- to increase their margins.

But when you think about it, it's common sense that food manufacturers would use all primary sources of food to make a profit.

I think Subway was offering lobster sandwiches too?! I'd call the people buying the sandwiches insane. Subway and McDonald's are smart if they can make money doing it.
