p.s. I've been very clear about my suggestion. Olmert's offer that Abbas walked away from was pretty reasonable. Too bad Abbas walked away without even bothering to make a counter-offer.

I also don't criticize Ukrainian violence against the Russian occupation and attempts at colonization either.
Violent resistance to an illegal occupation is allowed.
...
Do you ever wonder why people accuse you of supporting terrorism?

All attacks specifically targeting civilians for a political purpose. All of the rights groups you quote, the UN, and the ICRC are 100% clear that your claims are completely contrary to international law but you keep on showing how completely immoral your double standard is.

If Hamas wants to attack military targets then that is acceptable under international law but you will just scream and yell that Israel dared kill the militants who are attacking them.

Yes, peace options are difficult when much of the Palestinian leadership rejects the idea of peace with Jews remaining in the region and have convinced the Palestinian population that both a One State and Two State peace should be rejected.
That's an Islamaphobic trope, claiming that Palestinians reject peace while they live under an illegal occupation and there have been no peace talks in 8 years.
There is plenty of evidence of deals offered, talks attended and concessions made by Palestinians.

While Israel continues colonizing and stealing more Palestinian land.

Why do you continue to support settler colonization and a racist, apartheid system?

Palestinians have a right to self defence like Ukrainians do, to an illegal occupation. They do not have a right to target civilians any more than Israel does.
Nowhere have I supported targeting civilians in self defence, that's a war crime.
Nowhere have I supported terrorism.

However, you continue to support targeting civilians, as you did during the March of Return, the Gaza attacks in 2014 and 2020.
You support targeting Palestinian civilians repeatedly then turn around and say its 'terrorism' when Palestinians do the same.

Its you that needs to stop supporting war crimes, apartheid and state terrorism.

Its you that doesn't support basic human rights, equality or international investigations into human rights abuses by both sides.
Its you that supports the ongoing violence.

I support ICC investigations on both sides based on Amnesty, HRW et al's reports, implementing equal rights and ending the racist, apartheid system.
You call that 'antisemitic'

That's an Islamaphobic trope, ...
Pathetic how you cry racism whenever you get exposed.

Hamas outright rejects any permanent peace with Israel and is clear their goal is removal of the Jewish presence. On their most positive days, they say that any Jew born in Israel before 1919 can stay, all of whom would be over 100 years old.

And the Palestinian polling we have looked at show the vast majority of Palestinians reject both a One State and a Two State peace. What's left?

...
So why do you keep referring to indiscriminate Gaza rockets self defence? Why have you repeatedly commented on attacks on Jewish civilians only by commenting on where the attack took place. Hamas (or PIJ, PFLP...) is clear they don't differentiate between civilian and military targets. That's why Canada considers them a terrorist group. That same Palestinian polling has over half of Palestinians supporting attacks on Israeli civilians inside Israel.

Al of this is clear yet you can not care about challenging those views because they don't further your agenda.

(August 29, 2022 / JNS) The New York Times has come under fire again for hiring freelancers with a history of anti-Semitic social-media posts.

Weeks ago, the paper severed ties with producer and fixer Fady Hanona, who repeatedly espoused anti-Semitic and anti-Israel hostility and spoke favorably of Adolf Hitler.

The watchdog site HonestReporting’s investigation of Hanona uncovered social-media posts calling for the killing of Jews “wherever they are: children, elderly people and soldiers.” Hanona wrote: “The Jews are sons of the dogs, and I am in favor of killing them and burning them, like Hitler did to them. I would be extremely happy.” The post was accompanied by two smiling emojis.

The Times claimed it had only engaged with Hanona “in recent weeks” and was no longer doing so.

Now, HonestReporting has uncovered similar posts by two more freelancers.

Palestinian filmmaker Soliman Hijjy, who contributed to the Times between 2018 and 2021, shared a photo of himself with a caption that roughly translates as “in a state of harmony as Hitler was during the Holocaust.” In a 2012 Facebook post, Hijjy wrote: “How great you are, Hitler.” The Times has published Hijjy’s work covering the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Freelance photographer Hosam Salem, who appears to be actively contributing to the Times, has expressed support for the terrorist group Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip.

According to HonestReporting, Salem expressed joy over the 2014 Har Nof massacre in Jerusalem, in which two Palestinian terrorists murdered four rabbis, including three Israeli-Americans, at a synagogue before killing a Druze police officer. Salem also praised Hamas’s capture of the body of IDF soldier Oron Shaul, who was killed in 2014’s “Operation Protective Edge.” Additionally, he applauded Hamas terrorism and “called for more violence” after an attack killed two IDF soldiers in Judea and Samaria.

As recently as last year, Salem reportedly eulogized Gazan suicide bombers Mohammed Salem and Nabil Masoud, whose 2004 attacks on the Israeli port city of Ashdod killed 10 Israelis and led to the cancellation of a summit between the Israeli and Palestinian prime ministers.

According to HonestReporting, a Times spokesperson said the paper was looking into the two freelancers’ social-media history.

This year.

Clearly you should stop trying to speak for Hamas and Palestinians.
Oh, and stop spreading Islamophobic misinformation while you are at it.

Why do you keep lying about what I post?
This is a lie, you should apologize.
You have a different meaning of lying than the dictionary.

But you can clear things up by commenting on this news story.

Speaking of dictionaries, do you know the difference between "truce" and "peace"?

The Palestinian polling is clear. The vast majority reject both a One State and a Two State peace and Hamas' charter as well as their newer guiding document are clear they won't accept a Jewish presence in the region.

The Land of Palestine
2. Palestine, which extends from the River Jordan in the east to the Mediterranean in the west and from Ras al-Naqurah in the north to Umm al-Rashrash in the south, is an integral territorial unit. It is the land and the home of the Palestinian people. The expulsion and banishment of the Palestinian people from their land and the establishment of the Zionist entity therein do not annul the right of the Palestinian people to their entire land and do not entrench any rights therein for the usurping Zionist entity.

3. Palestine is an Arab Islamic land. It is a blessed sacred land that has a special place in the heart of every Arab and every Muslim.

And pathetically instead of criticizing them for their views, you instead obsess over things like one fringe Israeli politician has nasty views too.

My comment?
That your posting this story is more of your colonial racism.
You post stories to demonize Palestinians and never post or consider Palestinian deaths and casualties.

So until you post about all the infractions from both sides, this is more of your colonial supremacy.
Because you are ignoring what the occupation and apartheid is doing and instead trying to demonize the victims of the occupation.

So far in 2022, IOF attacks killed 111 Palestinians, including 80 civilians: 24 children, 8 women (one was a journalist Shireen Abu ‘Aqlah), 2 Palestinians killed by Israeli settler and the rest were activists; 15 of them were assassinated. Thirty-two of those killed, including 19 civilians: 8 children and 3 women were in the latest Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip. Also, 1256 Palestinians, including 191 children, 39 women, and 21 journalists, were wounded in IOF’s attacks in the Gaza Strip and West Bank. Moreover, 3 Palestinian prisoners, including a woman, died in the Israeli jails.

Speaking of dictionaries, do you know the difference between "truce" and "peace"?
Its all about the length of time, isn't it.
Just like you should know the difference between an 'occupation' and 'apartheid colonization'.

Still waiting for you to expose your racist double standard.
I'm not the one backing apartheid who calls critics of apartheid the 'racists'.
That's the double standard here.

I mean, claiming that just saying 'Free Palestine' is antisemitic?
That's an antisemitic trope, basketcase.
'Free Palestine' is a criticism of the illegal Israeli occupation, not the Jewish people.
How crazy do you have to be to argue that calling out war crimes is racist?

So it's racism to post an article where Palestinians shot at Jews who were simply wanting to go pray? You have continually claim you oppose attacks on civilians but when given a specific example from the day's news, all you can do is scream that everyone else is racist. Pathetic.

So until you post about all the infractions from both sides, this is more of your colonial supremacy.
Biggest joke of the year. Have you EVER posted about infractions from Palestinians? Of course not. You're too busy defending them.

And yes, I have seen those numbers. What you omit is the vast majority of those people were killed in armed conflict, mostly when Palestinians shot at Israeli police attempting to make arrests. As usual you try to claim that Palestinians who were shooting at Jews (whether police or civilians) should somehow be treated as victims.

When the target for protest is chosen simply for being a Jew, it sure as fuck is racist and Canada specifically lists it as an example of antisemitism.

Why are you afraid to answer? Is it acceptable to protest outside Muslim owned businesses in Canada to promote women's rights in Iran or Saudi Arabia?

The quote is in reference to your continual posts where you, like other Islamaphobes in the past here, post about one people in an attempt to demonize them without any reference to the situation, the scale of violence against them and international law. Its because you only ever post articles like this about Palestinians in order to justify the ongoing settler colonization and apartheid rule.

Check the stats, if you were honestly reporting about human rights violations and targeting civilians (or terrorism as you call it), then you'd be posting about Israeli acts about 10x as much as you posted about Palestinian acts. But you don't, you post only Palestinian acts.

Biggest joke of the year. Have you EVER posted about infractions from Palestinians? Of course not. You're too busy defending them.
I post mostly human rights reports and try to avoid posting who is killing who. Its only in reply to posts like yours above that I note that your posts are not representative of what is happening there.

You are posting IDF quotes as if they are real and not misinformation. They are no more trustworthy than quotes by Hamas.
If you want the real numbers, stick to third party, legit sources like Amnesty, HRW, B'tselem or the UN.

How is painting 'Free Palestine' an attack on someone for being a Jew when 25% of US Jews say Israel is apartheid.
45% of those living under Israeli rule say Israel is apartheid.
How can it be racist or antisemitic to be against apartheid and an illegal occupation?

Its an antisemitic trope: you claiming that all Jews support the occupation of Palestine and therefore its an attack on them to say 'Free Palestine'
Trope.

The Canadian Minister for Housing and Diversity, Ahmed Hussen, has said that no more federal funds will be allocated to an anti-racist organisation after one of its researchers was reported to have posted a series of antisemitic tweets.

In 2021, the Community Media Advocacy Centre (CMAC) received C$133,800 from the Department of Canadian Heritage (known as Canadian Heritage), whose stated aim is to promote and support “Canadian identity and values, cultural development, and heritage”.

However, that grant has come under scrutiny after the twitter activity of one senior consultant to CMAC, Laith Marouf, has come to light.

Mr Marouf is alleged to have written: “You know all those loud mouthed bags of human feces, aka the Jewish White Supremacists; when we liberate Palestine and they have to go back to where they come from, they will return to being low voiced bitches of thier [sic] Christian/Secular White Supremacist Masters”.

The phrase “Jewish White Supremacists” has featured in some of Mr Marouf’s other tweets as well, such as one that read: “Life is too short for shoes with laces, or for entertaining Jewish White Supremacists with anything but a bullet to the head.” He also seems to have called Israel the “Zionist Colony of Human Feces”.

Another time, when commenting on alleged Israeli military action in Syria, Mr Marouf allegedly said, “May death visit the home of every Zionist on this earth,” and he appears to have described Israelis as “filthy Zionist scum”.

Mr Marouf is also alleged to have said that “Nothing is more harmful to any decolonisation movements in the world, especially Palestine, than Jewish White Boys/Girls.”

In May 2022, Mr Marouf took to Twitter to say that “The little castrated b***** who are rampaging through old Jerusalem and alAqsa Mosque today, will be packing their bags & going back to where once they were treated as bitches and never dared to fight back”, apparently referring how how the Jewish diaspora in Europe was treated historically.

In March of this year, Mr Marouf apparently described the Ukrainian President, Volodomyr Zelenskyy, who has a Jewish background, as “pretend-Jewish” and claimed that there was a “Zionist-Nazi alliance” at work in Ukraine that aims to move Ukrainian Jews to Israel following the Russian invasion of the country.

It is alleged that Canadian Heritage has been paying Mr Marouf C$470 per day for his contributions to CMAC.

The group Canadian Defenders for Human Rights (CD4HR), whose Director was found to have posted a virulently antisemitic meme and antisemitic text on Facebook and Twitter, defended Mr Marouf on Twitter, writing: “#zionists in #OccupiedPalestine kill the opposition with gun fire or missiles & in #Canada they kill the opposition by defamation or making them lose contracts/funding. These are ugly & evil sophisticated methods to bully & assassinate all opposition. #LaithMarouf is a victim.”

Mr Marouf’s lawyer, Stephen Ellis, wrote an e-mail saying that his client’s tweets should be quoted “verbatim” and made a distinction between what he called Mr Marouf’s “clear reference to ‘Jewish white supremacists’” and Jewish people in general. Mr Ellis also said that Mr Marouf does not have “any animus toward the Jewish faith as a collective group.”

In a statement, Mr Hussen said: “We condemn this unacceptable behaviour by an individual working in an organisation dedicated to fighting racism and discrimination. Our position is clear – antisemitism and any form of hate have no place in Canada.”

The former Justice Minister, Irwin Cotler, who was also appointed as Canada’s Special Envoy on Antisemitism, said that Mr Marouf’s tweets were “beyond the pale”.

Campaign Against Antisemitism reports on news and incidents relating to antisemitism throughout Canada, which have dramatically increased according to a recent audit.

Amazing how you keep trying to hide from this.

You obviously think it's okay to target Canadian Jews with criticism over Israel while think it's racist to target Canadian Muslims over Iran or Saudi Arabia.
