A lot will depend on whether the NDP voters are smart enough to realize that Mulcair has flopped, and vote strategically for the Liberals.

I think most people have made up their minds by now. Except for us young'ins.
It looks like Harper hasn't made too many gains in The Toronto/GTA battleground.

If anything Terbers should remember what conservative brought up to us and vote them out.

Say no to more of Conservative government.

If Libs have a minority government it will be interesting to see if they can pass their first budget. The Cons will vote against it as they are against just about everything Trudeau wants to do and Mulcair has campaigned hard on a balanced budget, if Mulcair caves in he will look like a hypocrite.

Let's hope Libs get majority then. I know that's wishful thinking, but we can always hope :)
Vote as you see fit, that's your right
However, the USA twice elected an intellectual nitwit ( George W) & paid a heavy price for doing so
I can only hope Canadians will wake up in time to realize that Justin inherited his fathers name, but not his intelligence.
"The budget will balance itself" Do you really want to hand the Federal cheque book to a dummy, who has promised to run deficits?
If so, remember you will have to live with the consequences (higher taxes)

"The budget will balance itself"
Anybody who takes that line at face value without knowing that it was taken out of context has intellectual issues.

Actually when they first aired those ads they quoted Trudeau as saying "and the budget will balance itself" which clearly indicates there was something significant they were leaving out. After a few weeks the Cons realized they needed to remove the "and" because it made it obvious that they were twisting his words. That is the sleazy way Harper and his cronies work.

Harper is the only one to vote for. He may not be perfect, but is way better then the other two dummy's.

Think to yourself that Canada has done well under Harper the last 10 years. Other country's have been a real mess.
Now is the time we need strong leadership with Harper in command. T2 will be a nightmare to Canada just like Wynne is to Ontario.
Time to get serious guys and Vote PC.

Exactly. Harper has managed to get Canada to be the only member of the G7 to be in a recession. The other 6 must be really jealous.

Mulcair is way more educated than Harper. We've also not been doing well under Harper, unless you think a recession is good.
No credible economist has endorsed Harper.

The effects of government policy on the economy tends to lag a couple of years. We got through the Great Recession largely because of banking reforms implemented under the Liberals, and with the help of budgetary cuts implemented by Paul Martin.

Then Harper came along and bet the entire country on oil, a bet that looked great until the last couple of years when it really blew up in his face.

I'm not too impressed by either Justin Trudeau or by Thomas Mulcair but what impresses me most is the level of entitlement and corruption infiltrating the Conservative party after too many years in power. They were pretty clean when they first came to Ottawa but power corrupts and now they are a bunch of thieves.

C36 is yet another reason.

Time for a change.

I didn't vote for him today because I care more about other issues such as human rights and personal freedoms and NDP stands more for those issues. My freedom is more important than money
Glad to hear your only objection to Harper was the freedom issue and that Canada's foreign policy re: Israel did not factor in.

Conservatives have been a disaster for this country, from ruining the economy (we had surpluses before Harper took the office, see what happened after with all the money spent on military adventures), to the disastrous foreign policy, to this retarded bill against hobbyists. If history is any indication, both in Canada and US, republican/conservatives were the worst thing to happen to economy, compare the years of Clinton against Bush. The years of Chretien/Martin to Harper fiasco. For those who say they vote for politicians who protect your right and freedoms, seems like you forgot that it was conservatives who passed the recent legislative that limits people's freedom.

As for the person who brought Kathleen up, yes, she is so bad that conservatives are taking credit for her actions (shutting down coal power plants which resulted in reduced green house gas).

I have university attending kids and prefer my tax money being spent here in the education instead of Harper's disastrous foreign adventures that if anything, made the world less safe for all of us or on bills to limit my freedom on what to think of government or who I sleep with.

What happens when Trudeaus economic plan fails? We're stuck with a large deficit that we can't get out of without across the board tax increases.
Trudeau wants to spend on infrastructure including tripling the amount spent on GO trains etc. to improve the Toronto gridlock which costs us millions and millions on wasted time. This is in contrast to Harper spending on fighting terrorism, building new prisons and spending money to persecute pot smokers and hobbiers. If Trudeau's spending causes a deficit for worthwhile causes, I am all for it.
