"Fuckery" is more like it.Idiocracy is a good term for the last 4 years. The library is slow these days, but I'll see what I can do...
Absolutely love this movie! It came out 10 years too soon in 2006, would have been perfect if it came out in 2016.The writer of Idiocracy wrote it as a satire. Now he says it foretold the future.

The Toronto Library has this doc, on DVDthx , I missed that movie in 2006 . Not on netflix - listed on pirate bay. I remember watching a documentary .
2 million
minutes . High School seniors compared from ; India , China and USA. The only area that Americans excelled - conceit - self confidence.
Who has seen the movie Americathon ? This was a satire, made in 1979. The premise is that America has run out of money, and the country has 30 days to pay back the billionaire who loaned America his money. So the White House staff decide to have a telethon to raise the cash.^^^
Based on those few minutes, I'm surprised the film hasn't been banned as a hate film that promotes eugenics and disparages unhealthy poor people, yet.
Likely just a matter of time.

Thanks, was able to reserve a copy. Library is so slow these days though. Sometimes a week or two...As of this moment, the Toronto Library has 5 copies, and 18 holds.
It appears to be available on Amazon Prime.
What part of comedy don't you understand? Most laughs since "Clerks"...^^^

"I'm not even supposed to be working today."Most laughs since "Clerks"...
Still around, still a waiting list. Was the beginning to close to home, or to much of a parody of "Birth of a Nation"? They oughta remake that one and bring it forward some...^^^
