i remember when i was a kid...being gay or a lesbian was a big deal....kids would tease, call names like fags, tapette (french equivalent) and so on, they barely dared admit it for fear of being humiliated....nowadays, except for the rednecks, uneducated and the bigots, no one gives a shit....even being a geek or a nerd was a surefire way to get the short end of the stick in society....today gays and lesbians have equal rights, it was a long road and still much is to be done but no one can say things are not better for them...being a geek is actually cool (geek squad), a nerd pretty common...and being a jock pretty much pisses off most ladies except maybe the least bright....i see this trannie situation has something similar with the same battle to be fought against prejudice and misunderstanding.....while it may not be your thing and it's your right, we should think about perpetuating the feeling that they are somehow different and thus not worthy of consideration...we are all humans with qualities and weaknesses, we fail and succeed in many things. Not homophobic at all but I just don't believe you can have an operation and change your gender. I'm glad if they do and it makes them happier in life but gender can't be changed only appearance can. And I don't want to be harsh here cause I know they want to be the other gender but biological proof would be that females don't have Adams apples but a woman who transformed into a man would. i was thinking about that last night....i was asking myself 'is it true'....i admit i have near zero knowledge about these things, so i figured it would be best to find out instead of relying on anyone else's opinion....the consensus i found is that we are all born with it....only that in general men's grow a little bigger at puberty (which explains our deeper voices)......and that women can have adams apple'ss that may be more prominent....You are an expert on biology but don't know that men and women both have Adams apples?
