Unless you have been advised differently by your physician in the past, take an aspirin before you leave. And bring any medications that you are currently taking.
Any patient presenting to an E.R. with chest pain will receive an ECG and a chest x-ray, as well as have blood samples taken, in additional to a physical examination.
You will be asked about the location of the pain, its quality (burning, stabbing, crushing, etc.), its severity (1 to 10), and if it seems to be radiating anywhere (e.g. back, arm, jaw), worse with exertion, among other questions (e.g. profuse sweating, nausea and vomiting) as well as your past medical history.
Women and diabetics who are having a heart attack have been known to present differently - no or less pain, pain not in the centre of the chest. It's irrelevant. Just get to an E.R. if you are having chest pain that is concerning you. Do it now.

i went the scarb general hospital it's fucked they didn't ask me anything but my address and telephone number left me in the waiting room for 2 hours bawling my eyes out from the pain no concern showed no tests no nothing. when i told the nurse at the desk i'll be back when i'm close to dieing and need an ambulance that maybe i will get to see a doctor she told me NOT LIKELY

If the pain has lasted for hours you should call for an ambulance

Go to www.americanheart.org they list sysptoms for all types, arest attack stroke etc. Gen up then call back to the Ontario health number.
Just call 9-1-1
If you need an ambulance, call 9-1-1 and tell them you have had several hours of chest pain that has not resolved and that you can feel it radiating to your back and shoulder. They will act as quickly as possible, and you will get seen at whatever hospital they deliver you to.
