His comment was not in great taste, but it was clearly sarcastic. But whatever you think of the OP I still think his post brings up important issues such as the fact that it is naive to think you can ever “play safe” while you hobby. You can definitely take precautions and I hope people are doing that, but there is a risk for us all and it can’t be blamed on shitposting comments. There are risks for rock climbers and other types of hobbys too, my rule for this one is to engage in it only while single.
I don't think he is going to go out purposely to see ladies that are favourites of posters he doesn't like. I want to make that clear.

As others have pointed out, I was clearly making a joke (perhaps in poor taste) about seeing that other trolls favourite ladies if I return. I was making the joke to highlight the fact that he doesn't seem to take the risk seriously. In any event, I don't really care what others think. My sex life is non-existent at the moment since my outbreak is still healing, but my wife has been great about it and does not suspect my hobbying. In any event, I have learned my lesson and have no plans to return to hobbying in the future as I don't want to put others at risk and don't want to risk catching anything else. I've had my fun and it is time to retire. You should worry a lot more about the tons of guys out there (statistically speaking) who have herpes and other STI's and continue hobbying without saying anything on this board rather than attacking me and questioning my honesty just because I chose to share my story.

Pretty ironic (and ridiculous) that you would trash me based on your speculation that I will return to hobbying (which I won't) yet you say nothing about the women (and I assume there are lots of them) who keep working when they know they are infected with something.
