um, yes

“In the decade from 1920 to 1929, about 100,000 Jewish immigrants came to Palestine, doubling the Jewish population in a country with a total population in 1922 of about 750,000, of whom almost 600,000 were Muslims.

In August 1929, tensions created not only by the rising tide of immigration, but also by the anti-Arab policies of Jewish organizations spilled over into outbreaks of intercommunal violence that left hundreds of Jews and Arabs dead, and many injured.

In 1930 the Shaw Commission, appointed by the British government to investigate the troubles, concluded that the fundamental cause was “the Arab feeling of animosity and hostility toward the Jews consequent upon the disappointment of their political and national aspirations and fear for their economic future.”

So you're arguing that Palestinians, like right wingers in the US, were upset at foreign immigrants taking over their country?
That zionism was a foreign movement that actually had the goal to take over Palestine and you think that was ok but are against immigrants now?

Well, the solution the Palestinians chose - to attempt to wipe out the nascent Jewish state and its population - was a poorly thought out remedy..... Fuck around. Find out.

And shit that happened 100 years ago is not very relevant to what exists at the present time. Whoever the Shaw Commission blamed / didn't blame means fuck all in 2024, a century later.

I mean..... I understand that the Pope blamed the Venetians for causing the Great Veneto-Genoese Codpiece Larceny War of 1433 and it was probably a big deal back in the 1430's. But no one gives a fuck now.

So the hostages Hamas are holding, both alive and dead, as well as those killed on Oct 7th are not victims?
Sure skoob, they are also victims.
But the bigger victims are Palestinians living under 75 years of occupation, living through apartheid, multiple attacks on them and ongoing theft of their homes and land. Palestinians are the victims and zionists are the oppressors.

As the UN just noted:

The left saw genocide by a "supposedly" modern democracy and reacted accordingly. They are currently blocking all aid from entering Rafah after killing 15000 children and destroying the Gaza infrastructure....how is that not repulsive, sick and evil genocide? Other primitive societies and undemocratic regimes commit atrocities too, often based on tribal feuds and power struggles, but the left expects better from Israel. They are not getting it.

Explain to me what exactly the "genocide" is?

Israel facilitates ample aid to Gaza while Hamas continually claims that a "famine" and "genocide" are taking place. In fact, some casualties occurred to civilians in the combat zone because Hamas entrenched in civilian buildings, espec hospitals and no famine took place.

Hamas has claimed that 30,000 deaths have taken place in a population of 2M after 6 months of fighting in a heavily built up area with massive civilian presence. The Hamas figure is likely massively exaggerated, as Hamas' strategy is to raid Israel and murder civilians and take hostages and then claim "genocide" when Israel invades Gaza to take out Hamas. So the greater the international outrage is, the more international leverage Hamas has. So Hamas is very motivated to exaggerate civilian casualties.

There are 2 types of people who support Hamas on this board. The first are the hardcore Israel-haters like Frankie and Klatty.

The second is self-righteous lefties like yourself who know little about what is happening in Gaza, but rant about "genocide" anyway.

"Bigger victims"? How can you be a bigger victim than someone who has been murdered?

Your logic continues to crumble under the weight of your own hypocrisy.

You claim to be a lawyer, read the charges laid at the ICJ and take the definition and evidence from there.
Do your basic research or just admit you know nothing about this subject.

Famine has been declared in north Gaza by aid agencies. Your denial is holocaust level denial now.
No wonder Israel and zionists are trying to block Al Jazeera, they cover the news.

You don't think genocide is a bigger crime against humanity than murder?
Your ignorance is astounding.

Why do you back killing children, why haven't you called out Israel for killing 15,000 children?

Covert operations to take out Hamas leadership in Qatar (and elsewhere) which is where all the top guys are hiding. Freezing of funds and bank accounts that Hamas uses. An immediate effort to kickstart the creation of a 2 state solution, to put an end to the 75 year old conflict.
So would you admit, Qatar is coddling terrorists? If that's the case shouldn't there be sanctions on whoever is funding and aiding Hamas? Israel becoming a state was supported world wide...did the whole world support occupation?

Yes Hamas are terrorists and they are hiding in Qatar, so deal with Qatar, and force them to either extradite or ask Israel to go do an operation in Qatar. What Israel must not do, is commit genocide of poor, defenseless, regular people, 70% of whom are women and children, in Gaza.

It's not even that though... notice how the chant here is 75 years occupation when the Jewish has been on the receiving end of violence long before they became a state. Then you have the likes of Franky and friends calling you a genocide supporter why? because Hamas turn Gaza into a war zone...FAFO lessong #1 for Hamas.

It's a war zone (Gaza) and warning have been made... Hamas are still holding hostages, are still firing rockets...If they are brazen enough to put civilians in war zone instead of evacuating them...they are to blame...
