I believe that most Muslims are good people. They work hard, are law abiding, family oriented and faithful. They don't want to change our way of life or legal systems they have the same aspirations as anyone.
Good. Then you should also agree that much of the panic, stereotyping, and suspicion directed at Muslims is driven by far right rhetoric rather than evidence.
But there are a strong minority of Muslims who are fervent, intolerant, want to implement Sharia law .....
The same can be said of a minority of Caucasians who are fervent racists, intolerant, and openly advocate authoritarian or fascist policies, including “remigration,” even at the expense of democratic principles.
Yet no one argues that this minority defines Caucasians as a group.
They treat Muslims as if they are an oppressed group that is unfairly targeted.
Muslims
are stigmatized as a group and disproportionately targeted because of this exact kind of framing.
Your post shifts from acknowledging Muslims as ordinary people to reinforcing group level suspicion within two sentences.
You may want to think this through more carefully, as the reasoning isn’t coherent.
