Too much dead time in baseball.
You can see a whole game of highlights in a few minutes.
Hockey has far more action with far fewer stoppages.
I will admit that the Blue Jays payoff run is exciting, simply because of what's on the line.
Can only imagine what a frenzy the city would be in if the Leafs made the payoffs.

Hockey is more exciting but has definitely diminished in excitement in the past few years. Dilution of talent because of expansion and the implementation of stupid new rules has caused this.
If you are really into stats, baseball can be great. Otherwise... oh sorry, I fell asleep. What inning are we in?

Hockey on average is far more exciting than baseball but today's ball game far exceeds the norm. When has any hockey game in the past decade... except for Canada winning a couple of gold medals.... been anywhere nearly as intense or emotional than today's Blue Jays victory?

This is something most Leaf fans have never experienced.
Any sport that can be announced in real time on the radio is too slow.
Except for the occasional extreme play in baseball which is immediately replayed a hundred times because that's all they've got, hockey is much more exciting.
But then I am a Montreal fan.

As we're 167 games into the season? Excitement is the exception, not the norm (but yes, games are always better when your team wins).To look at a game like today and not think this is awesome.....

Hockey in general. But the playoff baseball has been excellent. Although, it is stressful. I thought that 7th inning might just kill me today.
I like any championship play in BaseBall, Hockey, Basketball or Football. End to end intensity - hockey & basketball. Strategy leading to dramatic plays football & baseball.
