...I am saying if she choses to not see certain men because of their race, she is a racist.

MLAM, would a SP still be considered "racist" if she had sex with a black man for money but refused to be with blacks socially? At what point does she cross the racisim/preference line? Is racisim in your opinion based only on commercial encounters?

...ANY decision for ANY reason based JUST race, that would be "racist".

It isn't rocket science people - the reasoning doesn't matter, the context doesn't matter. Just the behavior.

What you all are calling "preference" exists internally - it crosses the line when you ACT ON IT in a "vacuum"...refusing to see someone socially because of their race, without having any other data / information to go on.

Tell me - what would this "preference" be based on if you know NOTHING about the person otehr than they are Black?

If the chick does not want to see black men that is her choice, not yours. These women can select who they want to see when they want to see them. If she says she does not see black men that simply means she does not see black men. Thats not racist that is reality my friend.

Not all women find black features appealing, so be it. Get over it and move on to something else. There are many young ladies out there that do not want to see black men, so be it, its their choice. They are free to make that choice.

You should feel lucky that you have this much freedom, fifty years ago this was unthinkable. NOW if someone decides they don't want to go black they are racist. WOW what a fricken switch. I can remember when if you even suggested the thought someone was bringing out the tar and feathers. Feel thankful that society is as free as it is.

Glad you like the commentary. Hope you can appreciate the fact that not all women wanna go black AND if they prefer not to, then get over it. There are many more freedoms than there were before. If the young ladies prefer to not date black men, whats the big deal. Maybe there is a little insecurity on your part , eh?

Anyone (client or SP) can choose who they want to see based on race or age or what ever else. That is why its called a choice. It doesn't mean someone is racist or not.

I have to admit the more I think about it, the more I consider the selective action to be wrong. If being selective happens because the person is of a specific colour then it would be a racist act. A few years ago, I was mugged and assaulted twice by black people and for a long time I was unable to allow myself to be more than tolerant of black people. I am over that now but still realise I can't paint all people with the same brush.

Maybe it's difficult for a lot of people to admit they discriminate. Also a lot of people were raised indirectly to be prejudice because of feelings and actions in years past.

I have friends of various backgrounds and still catch myself stating things that could be taken the wrong way. Luckily we are trusting of eachother and have no problem pointing out whenever one of us says something that's out of line. Good thing I have access to TERB or I would never get laid or discover so many varying opinions held by members of this board.

We're talking about all races but you seem to have a hard on for Blacks.

So who really is the insecure one?

nope, just gotta problem with people who try to impose themselves upon others that have made the decision not to see them. A person's choice to select is just that, their choice. The ladies have the right to refuse to see any client based on their descretion. Its their choice its not a right its a priviledge. I have a problem with people who scream racism at the drop of a hat

MLAM, if in your view a "racist" is defined by a person or persons avoiding other colours or cultures for "any reason" would you agree or disagree that a black Somalian who refuses to do business or engage in any activity with a black from Nigeria is a racist or is showing culture preference?

I am white. I have many black/asian friends, who i respect and love. I am not racist. I was however raped by a blackman when i was 16. Date rape sorta situation. Im not the least bit attracted to dark complexions now, possibly because of this. I asked people what race they were when i saw them. Am I a bad person now?
You are not a bad person, just someone who is reacting to their past experience. The fact that you still befriend people of color shows that you are not racist. Your choice to not sleep with dark people has nothing to do with racism but rather a choice made from a bad experience in your past. Nobody can blame you for being traumatized to a point where dark men in intimate situations makes you feel uncomfortable. I am sorry that this has happened to you.

Now getting back on track, John Wayne, you're another asshat to the asshat collective.

If you read your posts without the racist bias you obviously hold, then you would see that your posts are just another waste of bandwidth regurgitating racist sentiments.

What is this about "lucky" to be free? Is it not our right? Because of bad actions in the past we should feel "lucky" that we have the freedom of speech? You almost sound like you rather prefer when blacks were subservient. The tone comes across loud and clear and a lot of my black brethren has picked up on it. A smart bunch they are, not as uneducated as some of you might want. I call them brethren because I don't see them in the color. I only see humans.

Again, a woman's choice if influenced by her disdain for men of color is a racist act. If she didn't want to fuck dark guys and just didn't find them attractive for physical reasons, that would make it a decision based on preference.

Preference is also a double edge knife. If your preference is skewed because of your disdain for blacks, then guess what, you're a slimey racist.

Nobody likes to be called a racist yet I encounter dozens daily. Even some of my friends are racist. They don't think they are, but they sure display racist behavior. I chalk it up to ignorant upbringing and I am constantly pointing out their error in judgement. The reason I stay friends with them is due to their willingness to open up and learn the other cultures and CHANGE their thinking on other racial backgrounds. The ones who have refused time and time again to see that all people are not equal, however, racial background should not be a factor in which the decision of equality should be made have been tossed away. I don't surround myself with ignorant and closed minded individuals.

Yes, KWI, I am not closed minded, as much as you like to spout I am.
