I would absolutely bet on this. If Israel did do something special needs like give them that land on the basis of them disarming and if Hamas started arming again, you know the usual suspects on terb and internationally would cheer them on and if Israel tried a military response to what is an obvious threat, the usual suspects will be painted as the bad guys.

When the US sways, then there will be some resolution. Without the efforts of the United States, Israel will not do anything because they are just as if not more uncivilized than the Hamas militants themselves.
