I used to have a crew cut before the closure of my barber shop. Haven't cut my hair in 3 months, I now have the hair style that I had in high school in the 70's. LOL

Call your barber and go get a hair cut. That's what I did.

Was tempted to visit the local pet groomer to just give me a quick clipping - I haven't had a mullet like I have now since the 7th grade.

(I'm kidding in case any trolls take my suggestion about seriously).

Close to ordering clippers from Amazon - like everything else shipping eta's to my area are showing 7-14 days out. Likely order them by next Friday if we don't get any good news this week or next about at least a time line of when we might get to safely see a hair stylist/barber.

I haven't gone for a haircut in about 2 1/2 years. I've been doing it myself.

Actually, I don't really give myself a "haircut" per se. My hair is still moderately long and when I get out of the shower and have toweled it off, I push it back with my fingers and I can feel any areas/locks that may be getting a bit too long or uneven. I then just take small snips here and there where I feel it is needed until it feels even. I probably take those snips 3-5 times a week and gradually work on it. No major mistakes as I take no big cuts. Always small amounts. Doing it this way, my hair pretty much always stays the same length.

Occasionally I ask for feedback from people who I know will be honest with me, just to make sure that I'm not screwing up.

LinkedIn is your friend. A few messages to laid off hair cutters, and I had three offers for people to make a house call and give me a cut.

Someone started a thread last year looking for a blow with the haircut and we're not talking with dryer.

Same!

You might remember when Dave Hodge hosted Hockey Night in Canada and his hair looked like a helmet. That is exactly how mine is growing mine would never get long just keeps growing out! PLUS the hair on the BACK of my neck would be PERFECT for a comb over IF I needed one.

I need to see the barber ASAP

I could not wait for the dog groomers so I did my own dogs. I think I will keep doing them now and save myself a $150 every two-three months.

For myself, I am now braiding my hair on a regular because it is too long. Just way to long.

My nails, I have been able to maintain on my own too. Just maintain the length. I can't polish or anything.
