What is so wrong with profiling anyway?
I travel a lot. I go through airports and sea ports and land border crossings. I am subject to search at any of them, and I accept it because that's the deal.
If the cops want to pull me over because I look suspicious and they want to search my car for weapons...go right ahead.
The only people that are against profiling are the ones that are guilty, and of course the garden variety liberal d-bags that will whine and cry about human rights.
How about the human rights of some kids and other innocent people that just got shot at a freaking block party?
The cops could just set up in a bad part of town with an xray truck and radio the plate numbers ahead.
Something has to be done. Citing statistics to fool yourself into thinking that there is no problem isn't going to work.
