I am hardly bashing him, just stating the facts. I wouldn't pay one red dime to advertise on that site. Yes, it got a lot of hits but it isn't exactly known for quality traffic. As I've said the site was going into the dumps long before its downfall with trolls, spamming and the like.
Exactly. Maybe it gets a lot of traffic. OK. But how many hit on the banners or links? And how many of those that do hit on the banners/links turn into buying customers? How many just hit on the banners/links just because they want to view the pics on the sites they are hitting on? How many times did TBull hit on the banners/links himself? How many that did hit on the banners/links and turn into buying customers would have bought the product or service anyway even if they never heard of the business from GTAC? In other words they click on the banner only because it was there... but if they were really seeking out that service or product (most times they knew about the advertisers already) if they really want the service or product they would have got to the sellers site through another source or means? Hello.

Seems other have already opened the bidding and I have to get in on the action. I'll bid:

$250.00 cash
$466.25 Canadian Tire Money
Half a jar of crunch peanut butter that's been in the carboard for 3 years
One two week old sweaty sport sock that I found under the bed
One 3mm Wetsuit ( only one dive )
Half a bottle of Remy Martin
and
One slightly burnt Toronto Maple Leaf Jersey ( Tie Domi )

Even if he sold 25 banners a month at $100. each (and that would never happen) that would only be $2500. a month. Where's the money? GTAC ain't worth 10 cents.
If those are the numbers for revenues I wonder what the costs are ? Sounds like you could be right . It isn't worth much . With $30,000 of annual revenue just paying the salary of an administrator part time plus whatever computer maintenance etc is required would make it a losing proposition .

If the plan was to sell it wouldn't it make better sence to keep it up and running during the time you are "marketing" it?

Does anyone really know what is going on with GTAC?

Maybe "marketing" isn't his um...strong suit?

I have no clue what's going on with GTA. I'm a bit ticked it went down with no notice and shit - and no offer of explanation.

I'm also pissed that I've lost contacts because I was dealing with them via PMs on the site....GRRRRR.

What is the position of TERB toward SPs who were advertising for free on GTAC. Will they be welcome to advertise on TERB for the going rate?
Or are they not going to be welcome?

Any Adult provider has always been welcome to advertise on TERB, providing they are an "up to date" paid advertiser, follow the posting/advertising guidlines, haven't previously had issues with TERB such as being banned , and so on, That situation will continue for everyone, including GTAC advertisers!

Save your PM's if its important. This is the internet, everything is volatile, include where you saved it.

You can always put this info into 2 different sites that way you always have a backup if one goes down (ie... store it at MSN & Yahoo).
It is a good idea for Tbill!

Regina,

I had a nice time with you once, and the only reason I did see you was due to that site.

With a statement like the one above, I only have to say...You will never see me again.

TBills board did put cash in your pocket and it sounds like you are an Ungrateful B***h.

Oh, good grief. Some posters are acting like the mere fact that a girl had a directory listing on GTAC somehow means she's 'inferior goods'.

Most of us take advantage of free listing, ranking and directory sites - they're there to provide mutual two way traffic, so it's a win win situation for all parties involved. TBill had the benefit of listing women who drove traffic to his site, and the women had the benefit of the GTAC visitors who found them via the directory. I had assumed that, once his traffic warranted it, he'd switch over to a paid system similar to Terb's.

I don't see the benefit of all this 'us vs. them' arguing. At the end of the day, escorts are here to reach hobbyists, and hobbyists are here to search out escorts. It's hardly some great conspiracy theory. There's a reason I usually stay out of this sort of debate - no matter which side you choose, someone is going to bitch about it.
