As long as Ryan Gosling doesn't do drama, he'll be just fine. He's good at comedy and romantic films, which is what this looks like.

He no Viggo Mortensen.

Interesting, never heard of The Believer before, Gosling looked out of his depth in Blade Runner 2049. It happens to the best of them Leo was miscast in Killers of the Flower Moon. Lily Gladstone was amazing, she covered up that fact well.

They say the Gladiator II will take place in Britain, mainly in York.

The first Gladiator film started with the Macromannic War which Marcus Aurelius won before he died. Gladiator II will start with Septimus Severus's ill fated invasion of Scotland, he died at York. The cast is fronted by Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington. Joseph Quinn is playing Caracalla, don't know who he is?

The team of Tai West and Mia Goth have made some very creepy horror film. It started with X, then Pearl which was creepy as fuck! Now the third installment in the trilogy is coming out: Maxxxine.

Here is an an A24 film I unjustifiably have not seen. It's Robert Eggers (The Lighthouse) and Anya Taylor Joy looking gorgeous in The Witch. I'm going to que it up to stream soon. AJoy was still a teenager when she made this.

Another A24 film.

Some are calling Civil War, the most disturbing film of the year. The film stars Nick Offerman as the POTUS, consistently great Kirsten Dunst and a fresh new talent named Caelee Spaeney as photojournalists.

Is she cuter than Mike Lindell?

This surprised me, Alex Garland's (Ex-Machina, 28 Days Later) latest Civil War was the highest grossing film last weekend. It's A24's most expensive film at $50 million. Maybe audiences no longer want retreads, they're hungry for original content. Civil War earned $26 million at the North American box-office.

Just saw it, about a future USA in which a group of photo journalist led by KIrsten Dunst who are on their way to Washington DC to shoot and interview the POTUS, during a civil war , but along the way encounter supporters of various political affiliations. Great performance by KIrsten Dunst.

Lots of great shoot out scenes, especially the ending where POTUS tries to escape the White House.

8/10

I figured they were going to go the "road trip through war torn land" route.
Interesting, I may have to check it out.
