If LSU beats Tennessee in the SEC championship they will be back at #1 on December 3. Too much hype in the SEC. SEC way too overrated by pollsters. Even with two losses LSU will most likely play WVU in the national championship. Missouri has played too many minnows this year and the pollsters as well as the BCS computer will punish them for that.
I don't think so. In fact after the win against Kansas and if they beat Oklahoma, the computers will love Missouri and they will be #1 in the computers, and at worst #2 in the human polls. In fact, Missouri will be ahead of LSU in the computer aspect of the formula this evening when the rankings come out. And next week a win over Oklahoma would be more valuable to the computer then a win over Tennessee.
Right now Missouri and West Virginia are both in control of there destinies. They win next week and they are in.
What could be interesting is Ohio St and LSU, if one of those two above teams lose. And that will piss of the Little Eleven fans, to know that there mighty conference is bitch slapped by one loss teams in the Big East and the Big 12, and a 2 loss team in the SEC.
But I see no chance in hell of Missouri not getting in with a win over Oklahoma. Well of course human voters can always Sabotage the vote and intentionally put LSU at least 2 spots ahead in the human vote, but that is highly unlikely/
