Side note...what a choke job by West Virgina...beat a 28 point underdog and you are a total lock....

The coaches are not irrelevant...the COACHES POLL is irrelevant to the BCS standings. Missouri now deserves to be rated below Oklahoma. ...NO, Oklahoma's two losses to teams crushed by Missouri (Colorado and Texas Tech) means they ARE NOT #1 in the country. Ohio State had the advantage of waiting for Missouri to lose after they lost to Illinois (a team already beaten by Missouri) and beat lowly Michigan. Ohio State DOES NOT deserve to be in the BCS championship game!

Well I was right about LSU and I made that call a week ago!!! Too bad about WVU - but if you can't beat PITT at home then you get what you deserve. OHIOS. Oh How I Hate Ohio State.

Careful what you wish for. I'm not sure alot of these teams could make an extended schedule and still have players on the field. My once vaunted Ducks played with an inordinant number of freshman on Saturday due to injuries, their quarterback a fifth stringer. Until this year I didn't know there was such a thing. I could see a playoff system involving the top eight teams, beyond that it would have to take away games from the regular season, and some of the drama. Classic matchups that used to define a team's season could lose their significance if just making the playoffs was all that mattered.
