Ford's handout/vote buying scheme (which I disagree with) goes to everyone, including the average shmo. JT's two month tax reduction/vote buying scheme, also applies to everyone. They're no different.
Wonder why PP only criticizes the reduction of taxes, but not the $250 cheques. Of course because he does not want to upset the Doug Ford applecart.
But I thought that when taxes are reduced then it is good for the economy.
Ohhh..... well PP is a hypocrite!!

Change has to be systematic, sure. Its like all the oil$gas posts on this board, the industry is greenwashing and trying to blame people with plastic straws or not recycling enough while they rake in the cash killing public transit and renewables.

What you argued for is an attempt to justify doing nothing because you're just one puny person in one small population.

We need to start with some bigger moves, ban all private jets would be a good start.
Here's another reason no one takes you seriously. lol

At least it's means-tested, unlike Dougies!

Which is fine, I prefer Dougies because at least I get a little taste of tax money coming back.

Will you be thanking Justin or giving it back?
No. Because come April 1 Justin is raising many taxes again.
He is clueless.

But when they go back with an increase April 1st that isn't good for the economy long term which is all that matters.
Not to mention the BOC may not lower interest rates at next meeting due to Trudummy's stupid temporary tax holiday.

Actually, Poilievre called Trudeau’s promise of a “GST Holiday” for Canadians, a “tax trick.” Poilievre said the temporary break on the GST on a slew of everyday items “would not make up for the permanent quadrupling carbon tax on heat, housing, food and fuel.”

And he's correct.

Really?

Ur not serious now r u?

Utter nonsense.

Borrowing $3.4billion for an unlegislated, unnecessary, unneeded and unwanted more than1 year earlier than required election to desperately get ahead of the upcoming bombshell RCMP Greenbelt investigation in addition to piling on over $120billion in added debt onto the backs of taxpayers in addition to producing a plus $6billiob budgetary deficit while squandering billions up billions of scarce resources in furtherance of private sector interests does NOT:

EQUAL "ACTUALLY A REBATE BASED OFF PERFORMANCE"

Now, I've smelled utter bullshit before, but your's and his reek, stink and stank the worst.
You jihadist ISIS sympathizers need to have your vocal box removed and your fingers amputated.

The money was made possible because of fiscal responsibility. Something all of you on the left know nothing about.

The facts are the facts and the more the facts come out, the stupider you and your Liberal jihadist extremist look.

Sorry, it ain't shit you smell. It's your breath blowing back into your face.

The working people will get a cheque of $250 in the new year. Is that not like returning the taxpayers money back into their pockets?
If Douggie Boy can do the same what is the issue with the righties? No wonder that Pee Pee will not comment on that cheque!! Well not happy with it then send it back to the Government!!
It is likely that the BOC will drop the interest rates by just a quarter percent rather than half a percent. Remember that Canada's interest rates are already one of the lowest among the G7 nations!!
Now you are complaining that if you put money back into the pockets of Canadians then it is "inflationary".
You cannot have your cake and eat it too!!

Yes, Pee Pee always has to groan and moan, no matter whether it is in Canadians interest or not. Once again remember that around 80% of the Canadians are receiving more in rebates than they pay on the Carbon Tax. Of course Pee Pee will never address it, as he likes to "Axe The Facts"!!
But why will Pee Pee not comment about the $250 cheque that the Canadians are going to receive? Of course as he will not want to have a conflict with Ford!!

I never said it was inflationary. So wrong on that point.
It's straight up vote buying. Yes, just like Doug and the carbon rebates.
I'm not working. I'm retired. So if working is the catch for getting 250, I won't be getting it. Soooo how do I return it?
People renewing their mortgage would rather see .50% reduction than a .25% reduction. That's a real savings for many people over a couple years not $200 over 2 months.

Please share with us what taxes are going up on April 1st. besides the carbon tax which will be offset by a higher rebate check.

You do realize that millenials and youth have no sympathy for home owners, don't you?
They think you've gamed the system against them and they will never be allowed to own homes.

Do you believe Justin and the Federal government control the interest rate announcements?

rent went up from $1000 to $2500 a month and Trudeau hands out $250

I don't know who is more stupid, Trudeau for doing it or the fools who are happy about it ?
Oh I see, gotcha. SO PEE PEE is going to lower rents to this magical 1000 a month and drop home values by 50%, gotcha.

Well, since the builders have stopped building because it is not feasible in this market to build, lets see how much they build when PEE PEE slashes our home values by 50 points.

HEY , he's not going to do it because in the same way, Justin didn't control the housing market, and neither will your apple-eating lying piss stain.
