Thanks for pointing out why its best not to build more pipelines.Apparently not. Global emissions of man-made CO2 hit a record high last year.

So said Wynne. Nice faux pas on her part.So says the right wing press, not Wynne.
Someone trying to pay off the sins of one Trudeau. Now we have another one doing it ahead of time.Who introduced the GST? Yes, oil taxes have been implemented by all Governments whether Liberal or Conservative.
You brutal communication skills have once again left the reader wondering what exactly do you meanCheck globally, more investment now goes into green energy.
Global oil consumption is 100 MM barrels a day & growingWe'll be on fossil fuels for a decade or so, but we're definitely moving off of them.
Globally.
She had implemented the cap and trade on businesses through auctions that were a sell-out. But again no proof that she said "not implementing carbon tax would cost 30-40 thousand government jobs". Obviously false:So said Wynne. Nice faux pas on her part.
But she clearly stated that not implementing a carbon tax woukd cost 30-40 thousand govt jobs. That was a direct message to govt employees where to vote.
You meant Mulroney!!Someone trying to pay off the sins of one Trudeau. Now we have another one doing it ahead of time.
The alternative is to move it by railThanks for pointing out why its best not to build more pipelines.
So in addition to taxing the economy, she was going to hire 30-40 thousand more govt employees in order to spend the revenue? So said Wynne. Nice faux pas on her part.

She implied the later in a tweet. So in addition to taxing the economy, she was going to hire 30-40 thousand more govt employees in order to spend the revenue?
or
Was she implying the lost tax revenue would mean 30-40 thousand govt employees layoffs?
i.e she has already spent that revenue by expanding the size of government ?
No. Trudeau was responsible for considerable deficit spending. We were told the gst was to pay it off. All they did was to use it to increase spending. You meant Mulroney!!
She said it in criticism of Ford when he announced he would scrap it.She had implemented the cap and trade on businesses through auctions that were a sell-out. But again no proof that she said "not implementing carbon tax would cost 30-40 thousand government jobs". Obviously false:

You are hilarious. Keep on blaming Trudeau for everything. We know that Mulroney had to implement it to ring in more revenue, although it was the most hated tax at that time and it destroyed the Conservative party as we knew it then. All they then managed to do was to retain win just two seats when Kim Campbell was the leader.No. Trudeau was responsible for considerable deficit spending. We were told the gst was to pay it off. All they did was to use it to increase spending.
Mulroney paid for the sins of Trudeau. It's that simple. He did the right thing. You are hilarious. Keep on blaming Trudeau for everything. Wonder how Mulroney and Campbell could not get the Butler message out that they were paying the price for the deficit caused by the Trudeau Government??

More binary reasoning from the resident Reaganomics expert. The alternative is to move it by rail
I know that produces even more emissions.
The depth of your thinking is extremely shallow
Funny how there's always an excuse for a conservative debt.Mulroney added to the pile, however Interest rates were also significantly higher than now, and as I have stated before when you inherit a bloated bureaucracy, it is tough to cut cost quickly.
Trudeau is fondly remembered for bringing the percentage of Canadians living in poverty down from around 23% to 13%. Something of an achievement. Remember that in the seventies there was one of the biggest global recessions, that hit many Western nations very hard indeed. He did a great job of steering them out of i,t and the deficit is no different from what Harper plunged Canada into during the recession when he did not know that Canada was in a recession. Although the deficit dollar wise was much bigger under Harper, as a ratio of the GDP it was similar. The difference is that Canada's growth under Trudeau was one of the highest among the Western nations. Under Harper, not really!!Mulroney paid for the sins of Trudeau. It's that simple. He did the right thing.
No way Trudeau Jr. Does. Or Wynne.
It will be spend on salaries and other payoffs for votes. And the voters know it.
too funnyMore binary reasoning from the resident Reaganomics expert.
The reason for that is conservatives understand the risks associated with debt, the perils of compounding interest and understand debt has to be managed in a responsible way.Funny how there's always an excuse for a conservative debt.
Dinosaurs like you are stuck in old economic models and don't understand that the world is moving to keeping as much fossil fuels in the ground for the good of the planet. For a 'businessman' you don't understand that even the insurance industry recognizes that changing our fuel sources and fighting climate change is way cheaper then living with extreme weather damages caused by climate change.too funny
Morons like you block pipelines because of environmental concerns only to force the oil to be shipped by rail.
