24 Australians arrested for deliberately setting fires this season
The country has been ravaged by wildfires this summer.

Two dozen Australians in the state of New South Wales have been arrested since early November for intentionally setting fires as record-large blazes continue to burn across the country.

There have been 24 people charged with deliberately setting fires among 183 facing legal action in the state, according to the New South Wales Police Force.

In addition to those facing the most serious charges of starting fires intentionally, authorities said another 53 people are facing legal action for not complying with the state's fire ban and 47 people have faced legal action for discarding a lit cigarette or match on land.

Blame the oil&gas industry, not campers.

Insurers won't offer insurance in some places now because of climate change and forest fire risks.

Fortunately our Premier is working hard for us and cut forest fire fighters by 67% a couple of years ago in prep.

It’s his fault!
He’s got time to pose for pictures with a helmet on, why doesn’t he get up there and help put the fires out.

Of course Trudy blames climate change, instead of his own incompetence

Of course. He blames everything on climate change. How else is he going to justify continually increasing the carbon tax, taking more money out of your pocket and making everything you buy more expensive. All in the name of climate change.

"We’ll keep working – here at home and with partners around the world – to tackle climate change and address its impacts," he said on Twitter. What a load of crap. Is he working with India and China to get them to reduce their GHG emissions? Not a freakin' chance they're going to listen to anything he says. He's a joke!

If I ever hear anyone again talking about forest management I will blow a fuse...

Ok I blow it!!! What the fuck is forest management? (other then a stupid response by a potus in face of a tragedy... which yet was better then throwing toilet paper...)

Do you really think by wiping the floor of our forest we can prevent fires? It wont do shit.

Have you seen the sheer size of our forest? Have you seen the type of trees that are present in those forest?

We have 347 million hectares of forest. How do you clean that?

How on earth would Trudeau be responsible and not the oil&gas industry?

Forest management, which encompasses fire fighting, is the resposibility of the provincial and territorial governments, not federal.
The only forested areas where federal government agencies are responsible are national parks, not provincial, and military bases.

These fires weren't caused by forest management, they were caused by heat and dry weather from climate change.

Exactly.

And just a dry lightning and there you go. I have been to those forest. It's millions of hectares of pine forest. If dry for too long they will burn no matter the idiot who think forest management can make a difference.

Why not, My brother in law blames him for being responsible for everything including the leaves built up in his culvert and his shingles not lasting 20 years.
You mean he's not behind all the latest shingles outbreaks??
