But at least they dead Ukrainians don't have to wear masks!!!...
The war in the Ukraine really puts things into perspective after having to listen to pussies bitch about vaccines, masks and their freedoms for the last 2 years.

If the majority of people cares about others, then majority will keep masking when it will be optional, so, it is OK to drop the mandates. I am just using your assumptions and common logic.I know, it makes no sense to you that some people care about the welfare of others. Yes, the majority of people who get covid end up fine, especially if they've been vaccinated. The majority of drunk drivers don't kill anyone either so we should probably ignore that problem too.
Science is an idea where people make decisions based on evidence. If the evidence says covid is not longer an issue than that's what I'll go with. As it is, the hospitalization rate, death rate and rate of positivity (despite limits on testing) are all higher than before omicron hit.
And are you really doubting that much of Ford's decision making process is based on the election?
While technically the majority were fine, it would've been a real shit-show without vaccines, masking etc. You seem to have forgotten how overwhelmed hospitals were around the world. Ask any healthcare worker dealing with COVID what the last couple years was like for them.
The only surgeries cancelled were elective. You don’t understand the definition, anyone needing surgery due to life or death continued as normal. If you needed new tits or a new hip it was delayed. Don’t fall for the media. That's now. Surgeries have been getting back on schedule since the last wave. It was bad for a while and a lot of the hospitalizations and ICU patients were unvaccinated. Fact!
Thats complete bollcocks. All the snowbirds I know have been there since January and are having the time of their lives. You live in a bubble mate. Get out and stop being manipulative by the media.Yeah. Florida is still a state despite not implementing many precautions!!!
lol. You make no sense, what’s drink driver got to do with anything. Lol. And yes, I’ve said from the beginning Covid was hijacked by the politicians and yes it’s politics.I know, it makes no sense to you that some people care about the welfare of others. Yes, the majority of people who get covid end up fine, especially if they've been vaccinated. The majority of drunk drivers don't kill anyone either so we should probably ignore that problem too.

You don't seem to understand there's capacity limits on the number of people hospitals and staff can treat at one time. When you take everything people are admitted for and add COVID, our hospitals began to buckle under the pressure and millions of procedures and elective surgeries had to be cancelled. Thus restrictions were put in place. The Omicron wave seems to be over so it makes sense to lift restrictions and that's what they doing.Go complain to the 10% who are not triple vaccinated. The minority of the population should not be dictating to the majority how we should and should not live.
I'm not the one complaining and protesting. That's the anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers. I look forward to not having to wear a mask any longer. Although, I bet they'll still be required in LTC homes for a while. You can complain and protest all you want, come spring masking will be done and dusted.
No, you don't understand the definition of elective surgeries and procedures. I have numerous friends in healthcare from ER doctors, physicians to nurses which is where I get my information from. In addition to postponing elective surgeries, there's many diagnostic services, cancer screenings etc. that have been delayed. As I'm sure you're aware, when it comes to cancer, early detection can be a matter of life and death. As is having surgery as soon as possible after diagnosis. The only surgeries cancelled were elective. You don’t understand the definition, anyone needing surgery due to life or death continued as normal. If you needed new tits or a new hip it was delayed. Don’t fall for the media.
Tell me, how many hospital beds do you think there are in Ontario? Just a few hundred in your estimation, maybe a couple thousand? Once you find out the true number, please post it!!You don't seem to understand there's capacity limits on the number of people hospitals and staff can treat at one time. During the height of the pandemic (which is not now) it wasn't the number of physical number of beds, it was the human resources required to service patients. You obviously don't have any friends in healthcare. If you did, you'd know how tough it was caring for COVID patients during the pandemic. Healthcare workers are exhausted. If you don't believe me, talk to some of them. Oh, and be sure to tell them the pandemic was a farce and there was never any emergency. You think because you and your buddies didn't get sick, there was no stress on the healthcare system. You have no clue.Tell me, how many hospital beds do you think there are in Ontario? Thank your lucky stars you do not live in Alberta. JK is going to pass legislation so that Cities and Municipalities cannot supersede the relaxing of Covid mandates. Vaccine Passports. Masking, Capacity Limits etc are all but gone...except in high risk settings. In a few weeks Ford will match JK
Alberta to force municipalities to lift mask bylaws
If you read my past posts, I am all for keeping masking in LTC, Hospital's and Public Transit. Everywhere else things need's a return to 'normal'.During the height of the pandemic (which is not now) it wasn't the number of physical number of beds, it was the human resources required to service patients. You obviously don't have any friends in healthcare. If you did, you'd know how tough it was caring for COVID patients during the pandemic. Healthcare workers are exhausted. Why do you think I'm against removing restrictions. You obviously haven't read my posts. Either that or your comprehension skills are a little suspect. Masks will be gone very soon and that's great. I look forward to it. All I said is that LTC homes may choose to have staff and visitors continue to wear masks for a little longer. I see nothing wrong with that.
True but you seem to be ignoring the whole part of laws being required to protect society from people who refuse to do so.If the majority of people cares about others, then majority will keep masking when it will be optional, so, it is OK to drop the mandates. I am just using your assumptions and common logic.
Only around 3000 deaths during that time in Ontario, most of which during the omicron wave.I’m not commenting on our actions after March 2020, I’m commenting after November 2021 when we now know it’s nothing to fear. We all played our part, now let’s move on.
Florida's not a state any more? Sorry but I'll take our death rate over theirs, even if it means I've had to wear a mask.Thats complete bollcocks. All the snowbirds I know have been there since January and are having the time of their lives. You live in a bubble mate. Get out and stop being manipulative by the media.
A law passed by the government to protect society from people who present harm. Most people with covid don't die and most drunk drivers don't kill someone yet governments have done their duty in both cases to protect society.lol. You make no sense, what’s drink driver got to do with anything. ...
After seeing so many right-wingers complain about government overreach ......
Alberta to force municipalities to lift mask bylaws
But minority not wearing masks poses little treat: as long as majority are willingly follow the recommendations, then mandates are not needed. Or do you think that majority will not wear masks when it will be recommended but not required? If so, then we are not really talking about "caring for others" but "because it is the law"True but you seem to be ignoring the whole part of laws being required to protect society from people who refuse to do so.
ps. scientific evidence is much better than "common sense".
Look at it this very simple way. The more people that wear a mask the better. I don't think that anybody can argue that. But minority not wearing masks poses little treat: as long as majority are willingly follow the recommendations, then mandates are not needed.
