The same as it was before the bike lanes went in, except that you can now bike safely across the city so more people do that and there are fewer people driving.
The street moves more people and in a safer way, businesses are happy about it here.
I can confirm the above.

Bloor St. West in both directions from Yonge St. to the Humber River moves well for all forms of movement/travel and people and business are happy and ecstatic.

Bloor St West from the Humber to Islington is Ford country and everyone is miserable for no apparent reason except for their elitist entitlement NIMBYism.

Sucks to live Ford country.

I hope they're not touching the Danforth bike lane. I like it for my bike, but I don't drive there much. I take alternate routes with my car. Traffic is slow, but the vibe with the patios and bike lanes is cool. Question for DOFO is: when are you rebuilding that ramp at the eastern end of the Gardner????????????????????

Right after he opens the Eglington LRT and builds the tunnel under the 401.

Good question tying into the broader question of:

When he is actually going to start to do the job that he is supposed to do as Premier of Ontario???????

He was not elected to charade around as:

1) Boss Hogg of Hogtown
2) The local and neighborhood road lane monitor/line painter
3) Captain Caca running around like an overfed crocodile armed chicken with its head cut off south of the border
4) The ka-ching, ka-ching poo-bah of bequeathing public assets and wealth to the private sector for nothing in return

I rather take the word of The Beaverton and the Onion than CBC :ROFLMAO:. They're being removed for a reason.
The CBC reported that Ford's own study says getting rid of bike lanes will result in 54% more collisions and not change traffic speeds.
You are just upset that they dared use Ford's own government study in an article.

Hard to have a collision when nobody is moving in one lane of traffic.

Read the report.
I did. I don't trust anything reported by the CBC. And doesn't matter what the report says. Residents businesses and motorists are all in agreement that they are the problem and not the solution. No one wanted them.

There are more threats than just those that kill you. I visited Amsterdam for 10 days earlier this year. Amsterdam has extensive bicyclying lanes. In that short time I personally witnessed 3 pedestrians injured by bikes in 3 separate incidents, one requiring an ambulance. I saw no pedestrians injured by a car. In Toronto, where I have a much larger sample size of observation, the same has been true. Most cyclists don't follow the rules of the road (or sidewalk) and are not considerate of pedestrians. Anyone with the opportunity to observe cyclists in this city knows this is true.
As a pedestrian, bikes scare me. I was hit two years ago while standing on the sidewalk with headphones in on a very quiet residential street. No reason for the bicyclist to be on the sidewalk going full speed. They blamed me for not hearing their bell ringing, got up and took off.

As a driver, bikes scare me. When I was 19 years old I was driving my mom's BMW 540i and was turning left at a left advance light signal in Smiths Falls. All of a sudden a bicyclist hits the side of the car and his body goes right across the dash.
He gets up, goes around to grab his bike and takes off. Not knowing what to do I decided to follow him and after terrorizing the moron by following him on the side of the highway while he was pedaling away for dear life for over 30 minutes with a crooked front wheel, he finally turned into his home and his elderly parents offered to pay for the damages. No damage is cheap damage on a BMW and I was so worried my mom wouldn't believe me if I didn't pursue the guy.

I don't understand why bicyclists aren't held to the standards of insurance and identifying plates, especially if special lanes are being provided for them.

Bullshit, Bloor St businesses back the bike lanes and say they are good for business.
The only ones who don't want them don't live here.

That's the gist of it.

Those drive-thru and drive-by suburban/exurban, crawl-by/bye-bye/sayonara/adios/hasta la vista moronic, motor vehicle motorists are the perpetrators/culprits that are clogging up, congesting, gridlocking urban, inner city, local and neighborhood roads like 'shack', 'skoobie', roddernutz' et al

We were open-minded enough to give them a try. They didn't work. It's like kicking a dead horse. Time to move on.
Summed up nicely here:

...widespread organizational phenomenon. It even has a name: The Dead Horse Theory.

Here’s the brutal truth: When a horse is dead, logical people dismount. But in organizations, what do we do?

  • We add more riders to the horse.
  • We feed the horse better hay.
  • We schedule daily stand-ups to discuss why the horse isn’t moving.
  • We form a cross-functional task force to review the horse-riding strategy.
  • We invest in a sleek saddle, hoping it will inspire the horse to run.
  • And, when all else fails, we rename the horse to something cooler like “Strategic Unicorn.”
Sound familiar? This isn’t a joke — it’s a reality for far too many companies. Instead of solving the real problem, they pour time, money, and energy into avoiding hard decisions and perpetuating inefficiencies.

ps I wonder what the new name of the carbon tax will be if Carney wins the election?
