Ford is not like Trump despite what Liberals want to believe. The entire comparison is a fabrication just because they don't support the PC's, or they just don't like him for whatever personal biases they have.

At times like this it shows that he has the province's best interests at heart.

CBC does a good analysis of why BC is flattening curve while Ontario is not. (and probably similar reasons for Quebec).
One of the big reasons is that BC warned residents against unnecessary travel and had a later spring break.
Ford was a week or so later with his travel warning so we're suffering from a lot of folks who brought it back from Florida.
Same with Quebec.

Trump could find the cure for cancer and our left wing loonies would find a way to spin it negatively. They hate him so much personally it clouds their objectivity, which is lacking to begin with.

No "Ford" wasn't a week late...

Ontario Premier Doug Ford "has actually stepped up as a leader," said Fisman. "[But] one has to realize Doug Ford's not a public health physician. He's not a microbiologist, and he's not an epidemiologist. So, he's very much dependent on the advice he's given."

Yes, with his medical expertise and record on COVID 19 its amazing that Trump hasn't already cured cancer and the common cold.

Ford has surpassed Trudeau in the daily news conferences.

For whatever reason, Ford demonstrates true empathy with the people who are suffering.

Trudeau tries to do the same thing but he's way too scripted -- too much the drama teacher, not enough real human being.

Ford has said nothing other than listening to the mediacal experts and following their guidance.

Just because you don't like the way he looks doesn't mean you should keep making up fake news about him.

His "team" are medical experts working in our healthcare system, not politicians.

It's not "his team". It's doctors and scientists that work for us and provide politicians with facts and guidance so they can take appropriate action regardless of who is in power.

If you're not happy with our healthcare professionals maybe you should make a case to replace them? Because afterall, you know better than them right?

So tell us, are our medical experts not good enough for you?

At the moment the most competent Canadian leader is Premiere John Horgan, BC's contagion rate is flatlining.

After Trump called Washington Governor Jay Islee a rat, he turned to BC for help. Washington's contagion rate has slowed considerably.

Trump is an expert at bringing up the rear.
