The ruling government doesn't brutalize it's population like the Maoists do in China. Vietnam became more relaxed after it normalized relations with the USA in 1995.

I had to wait on an order to come, so I went and had lunch. Not wanting cancerous polyps I avoided Subway, I went for the Indian food. Not being that familiar with Indian Food, I went with what I know (lamb curry) and something healthy (roasted cauliflower). The healthy dish was so delicious, it blew my mind. Now I understand what Anthony Bourdain said, if he had to be a vegetarian it could only be Indian.

Mmmm...yummy. Unfortunately, I need to avoid spicy food lately due to stomach problems. So I excluded all heavy, fatty and spicy food from my ration. I also take Canada Pharmacy medications at the moment, but I'd like to get rid of the medication, so I better eat some creamy diet curry.

Looks like it's going to get the coldest it's been this winter, in the next five days. I made enough meat ragu to last till Sunday. Boiled up some trainanti De Cecco and I'm nice and toasty warm.

Not cheap, used an entire bottle of Brunello to make it...not big on fresh pasta, I'm used to the hard variety.

S1 of The White Lotus was boring, lost interest after two episodes. S2 is set in Taormina Sicily with esteemed Italian actress Sabrina Impacciatore as the hotel manager. Aubrey Plaza should never be shot indoors, she is absolutely stunning in the Mediterranean sunshine! Sicily is the nut basket of the EU, how does it sustain the industry while California can't - no golf courses.
