Stating the obvious, but Max is unreal. Just unfucking real.
Not a Max guy myself but I do admit he is the best out there right now. BUT, he also has the best car. Curious to see him drive the Red Bull 'farm system' car, that is, the alpha tauri, and see the results. I know this is said about every good driver year after year, but I think it would be a good test, given that alpha tauri is also red bull, but a lesser car.

That would be interesting, but their marketing team wouldn't approve. 😂😂

What a strategy and risk by Red Bull, not to box early, avoid the potential of slowing down in pit lane. Box when it's less busy then Max+RB19 = win.
Imagine the rush Oscar felt when his team when was telling him he was the leader? ..........uuuntil Max was behind him and there was a pace car? lol
These guys are not only physically strong, but their mental fortitude is insane! Wow!

McLaren have two great young drivers in Landissimo and Oscar Hot Mess.

My bookie must be getting nervous, he didn't want to take my action on Red Bull winning every race. Arnold's classic line applies to Max Verstappen, "it's not alive so I can't kill it".

The F1 season has been quite exciting but it’s crazy when these crashes occur I always wonder if government will get involved and put some type of control over to these racing series as man they’re travelling at such high speeds and it’s incredible that we don’t have more deaths and I believe that eventually there’s going to be governments are going to come in and stop this fast speed racing in their countries.

Are you talking about governments controlling F1? Why should they? How is it racing then? F1 is dangerous but the cars are also incredibly well designed to be as safe as they can be. Infact the cockpit always stays intact and most driver deaths was because of head injuries in the past. Even that is protected now with the halo.

Exactly. Cars are so well designed and built. Older cars the driver was exposed from the shoulders up.

F1 Cars didn't have compulsory seat belts until 1972, and helmets weren't mandatory until the early 1960's.

In the 1930's, Tazio Nuvolari had a hole in his balaclava so he could smoke while driving. Into the fifties, it was not uncommon for a driver to have a glass of wine and a cigarette when he had to make a pit stop.

The circuit in Mexico had half tires embedded in the asphalt to define the edge of at least one corner. The Mexican fans used to sit on bales of straw a few feet from the racing line. The was, of course, no guard rail, nor any catch fencing.

Several drivers didnt like the halo in the new car design. Without it, Roman Grosjean would have been decapitated at the Bahrain Grand Prix in 2020
