A word about Sven.

He made his reputation by guiding Lazio to the last Cup Winner's Cup in 99 and the Scudetto in 2000. He is a very good player's coach but he's incapable of making the tough decision. England has a very strong squad but they lack leadership. You cannot have a narcissist who doesn't show up for crucial matches as captain.

If Steven Gerrard were captain, England would win the World Cup.

sven had made a name for himself by winning the uefa cup with iek gothenbergin bout 83 and going to benfica to win the league there and bring them to a european cup final.
he had some tough times in italy before success at lazio, but look at the mess the club was in after

Like I said Capello is a great coach. He's also almost 20 years older than Mourinho. At 43 Mourinho has been a Euro champ twice, with a team that had no business winning even once. Obviously, he has not had time to collect as many honours as Capello. Put him in Serie A, or La Liga, and he will clean up the way he has in England.

Sorry I'm not convinced, Porto 2004 were a very talented team.

With Roman Abramovich's bottomless pockets any decent coach could win at Chelsea. If Morinho were to move to Inter Milan (the world's most dysfunctional team) and have the same level of success then he would be the best coach in the world.

thats why jose got out so quick too porto won a weak european cup that year many big teams flopedthe semi final line up would tell you that
chelsea v monaco with chelsea even losing
porto v deportivo
ac milan just decided to not show up in the 2nd leg againest depor
madrids biggest mistake was letting mori go to monacowith his goals knocking them out
and man u were put out by porto due to a bad offside decision
i feel the same that any coach would do it at stamford bridge with that money

but sure by think rafa benitez is a better coach then mourinho. done the same by winning the uefa and european cup, only harder his way with 2 different teams
at valencia he had less money then jose at porto yet he got in and beat the likes of madrid and barca to 2 la ligas, did porto have teams of that size in there league?
lets see if jose would clean up if he was put in charge of a team like aston villa or say seville in spain or sampdoria in italy where he would not be the big boys
he could have not managed chelsea to the league if the money had not been pumped in. its easy to pick a squad to win a league or cup when you have a endless supply of money sure i do it every week.................its called fantasy football..............but even then i have less to spend then jose!
