As the OP of this thread I ask guys and girls to please refrain from making personal comments. I definitely notice a lot of ads for $100/hh, $160/h, and even $60-$80 for 15 or 20 mins. -- much more than before. I am having good luck capping myself at $100/hh. I believe that the depressed local economy is a big factor, maybe due to a lot of government lay offs etc. But as the average person's employment and salary situation takes a dive, $100/hh in relative terms is still a good living. I think the SPs will be OK and let's not forget there are a lot of other people out there hurting right now. For me, $100 is a lot of money so I don't feel bad about the price, it's fair for everyone.

Another possible scenario is if we go back to the real definition of escort and escorting. I wasn't of age then but if I have read correctly in the 70's or even early 80's when escort agencies and escorting started operating IT WAS NOT ABOUT SEX BUT COMPANIONSHIP. I am just guessing but it can't possibly remain at current levels of $200 per hour as it would be unaffordable for almost everyone. $100/H would be for no sex companionship which is the real definition for an escort?.

Guys I'm in Toronto but I can tell you we are seeing a lot more Montreal escorts trooping here on a regular basis. Both on BP and some of the new talent at the agencies. I'm pretty sure the bottom has dropped out in that city and the ladies are moving around to where the business is.

I'm not sure about the oil patch. I've heard its both great moneywise but can be a shitty atmosphere to work. The ladies prefer the business type so I think Ottawa and Toronto qualify as the two best places for that in Canada.

With massage, it really doesn't go up completely linearly. I'm pretty sure the top rate would be about $180, which would be an $80 door fee + $100 tip. The girls keep their rates pretty flat within the hour, but the door fee goes up by time usually. Plus ALO has its VIP memberships who get some discounts on those door fees.

I am sure Avahs' ad you describe, at $160, is INCLUSIVE of the door fee. I think they try to keep it simple on BP and CL ads.
IME on this board, Paradise/AT is very tuned in to the pricing and doesn't allow, or at least recommend "overtipping" (obviously you can give what you want).

Not sure if prices are actually going down in Ottawa. On BP they tend to be fairly stable around $180 to $220, which is about what the current market can take. That's usually around the rates I consider acceptable to pay. Now granted, I do see Annika Reiley who's rates are higher than that, but I've known her a long time and know that the level of service will be outstanding so I don't mind paying a bit more in this circumstance.

As for the comment about the quality on BP going down, I very much disagree with that individual's comments. You need to be patient and willing to do your homework. BP is not for the lazy! Take the time and you will be rewarded. I've found some amazing gems over the last year on BP, but it took a lot of work and there were definitely some misses.

Found basically the same thing regarding the work required for BP; have found gems but not for a long long time and the time and effort is just not worth it for me anymore.
