With the laws in Canada paying for sex is illegal but it seems like it happens very often with no risk. Would you say it's safer to book a 4 or 5 hour session and spend the first hour at a bar incase she is a Copy? What are the risks if booking and agency lady?

It’s better to book a well reviewed lady. And, not many ladies Lady’s want more than an hour with a client they’ve never met.

It's illegal for you (or anyone) to buy sex, but it's no crime for someone to sell their sexual services, and certainly entirely legal to exchange money for companionship in a restaurant, club or a bar.

Customarily one pays an SP in advance, so if you're prepared to put out the five hundred plus sometime around the first drink order, all you have to do is convince the agency booker that your proposition is actually serious. You do see escort websites offering 'other' sorts of companionship, like dinner-dates, but mostly on those from independent providers other than agencies. I think any agency that mislead customers about providers that weren't real wouldn't be in business long.

Unless the agency is a fly by night pimp-show, the chances of you being investigated and busted in Toronto are somewhat less than you being struck by lighting.

The only time the cops in the GTA give two hoots of enforcing the law is when they're dealing with trafficked or underage people. They're busy dealing with drugs and guns. Not to say there can't be a sting operation out there, but it's usually a targeted sort of thing compared to a trawl net "gotta catch 'em" kind of thing.

What are you going to do during that first hour to ensure she isn't a cop?

I was thinking that if I booked 5 hours a cop wouldn't waste her time at a bar for 2 hours trying to get a bust.

Possible but the biggest concern as others have mentioned is underage and trafficked individuals. Most stings (from what people have reported) involve the girl clearly mentioning something that would make it illegal and the guy continues instead of walking. If you ever meet a girl and she says she's 17 or under, just WALK AWAY.

If you're dealing with a reputable agency like Mirage, Select, Allegra, etc. you should not have a problem. They've been in business for years so they know how to deal with them. For the most part, indys are fine too as long as you stick with well-reviewed ladies.

In either case, there's no need to spend 1 hour at a public place and then additional time at her place unless that is truly what you want.

Age of consent is 16 so you're fine. An agency would not put themselves in a position to hire a girl younger than that.

An agency or Indy can not participate in this industry unless they are 18+.
