Ideas can be acquired form anywhere.
This isn't about ideas.
This is about the claim that Elon revolutionized the world.
Did Bill Gates, Steve Jobs revolutionize the world? Yes.
Did Elon? No.
Apple was founded 30 years before the first iPhone was introduced.
Microsoft was founded 10 years before the first version of Windows was released.

Musk brought the first successful and commercially available EV to consumers in 5 years.
He successfully reached orbit with the Falcon rocket in 6 years.

You seriously think he is not revolutionizing the world in those aspects and within those timelines?

On social media today Elon musk calls Justin Trudeau an insufferable tool. Your thoughts and comments. Is he right?
Musk also said in the past that Steve Wozniak, the undisputed and revered father of the modern computer was not a child of Silicon Valley. Musk is a pompous ass.

Engineers don't need degrees to become an engineer...they're not surgeons. you don't need to be a lawyer to defend yourself in court. maybe not a good idea though.
you don't need to be a surgeon to amputate your dick either

So far he delivered.
What did he steal?
Zuckerberg was so inspired he has to pay 65million to the twins?
I don't think Steve Jobs stole ideas...he's a visionary but he didn't execute the hardwork....kinda like...Elon. Elon without his team of engineers won't be where he is now...
Really? PEO begs to differ.

Different products.
Different development timelines.
The roadster rolled out in 2006. 2 years before Elon took over. So he gets no credit for it.
It was the work of Eberhard and Tarpenning.
Heavy rockets had been in use for over 50 years.
Elon took 6 years to get one to fly.
Doing the same thing people before you have already done, is not revolutionizing anything.

So you mention Jobs and Gates and now you say "those were different products and development timelines".
why did you mention them if they can't be compared?
Mr. Slippery indeed.
I guess that's what happens when the facts slap you in the forehead and you have to backtrack to not look foolish.

ps heavy rockets never landed themselves.
If Musk didn't invest in Tesla they wouldn't have released anything.

I did not compare their products.
I compared their accomplishments, which is perfectly okay to do.
Jobs and Gates revolutionized the world.
Elon did not.
Nothing controversial about this.

You compare them by the impact they have had to our lives.
Elon's only impact on the world is his trolling and tweeting.
Jobs, Gates and Zuckerberg, changed life as we know it.

No he didn't.
Please tell me how exactly he revolutionized society.
Your life literally wouldn't be any different without Elon.
And Joe Rogan probably did more for Trump than Elon.
But his con seems to be working on you.
Attaching himself like a leach to Trump he is seen everywhere now so it is natural for people to think he is some sort of kingmaker.

Starlink alone is revolutionary. Space exploration (which of course you will claim has been done since the 70s so it shouldn't be credited to him despite the massive improvements).
Elon isn't conning everyone... the democrats were conning everyone...Lol..Biden is fit and was in good shape remember? LoL

Satellite internet is not revolutionary lmao.
Look at the startink map.
It's unavailable for most of the world.
Plus he is just adding to space debris with his 1000s of satellites.
NASA is the pioneer and leader in space exploration.
Followed by every other national space agency in the world.
What exploration has Elon done so far?
Absolutely nothing lol.

Sine you mentioned "space debris" Elon is actually minimizing it...LoL..gone are the rockets that go to waste because they can't land - revolutionary.

Space debris is caused by satellites.
Rockets always re-enter and burn up or splash into the sea.
NASA has been recovering spent boosters since the 80s.

Elon Musk's companies have had a significant impact on several industries, including:

  • Transportation
Tesla's success has accelerated the transition to electric vehicles, influencing government policies and consumer preferences.

  • Space
SpaceX has revolutionized space launch economics, making satellite deployment more affordable and opening up new possibilities for space-based services. SpaceX has also sent astronauts to and from the International Space Station and is developing the Starship rocket, which could put American boots back on the moon.

  • Neurotechnology
Neuralink is a neurotechnology company co-founded by Musk in 2016.

  • Urban transportation
The Boring Company is a venture of Musk's that is pushing boundaries in urban transportation.

  • Online payments
Musk co-founded PayPal, an electronic payment firm, after merging X.com with Confinity in 2001

Now I'm sure you will find some kind of nuance with wording here...Let's see if I'm right.
Tesla: Yes, under his leadership he made the company a rival for the big automakers around the world. Cannot argue with this. However, Musk has repeatedly made wild promises about Tesla technology that are not even close to being feasible. Like the self-driving car he said would be ready by 2018...

Space X: Agreed, he helped improve the launching of satellites. We'll see how the other stuff works out.

These others....seriously? The Boring Company is basically dead. He launched it to sink a proposed high-speed rail system that could cut into car sales. Other than one tunnel in Las Vegas, what other projects has this company done? All hype, no payoff.

Neuralink....Another example of how Musk talks a big game but we're still many, many years away from anything tangible.

PayPal was revolutionary at the time, but who still uses it?

Anyways, I'll agree that Trudeau is insufferable. But, compared to Musk, he's a fucking rock star. Elon continues to sound unhinged and his stupid little drug jokes and double entendres really show how childish he is.

As someone else posted in this thread, he's going to end up like Mike Lindell. He might not go bankrupt, but Trump will use him and abuse him and then drop him like a bad habit.
