If it were true, putting a guy in a coma and him dying as a result would have taken this thing to an entirely different level. It would be all over the media.
This is probably an "urban legend". For what its worth, there is something in Riddit about the old guy suffering a heart attack and the videographer now MIA.
Anyway, I think all this is a gross overreaction. Boys will be boys and they were all consenting adults (I think). Europeans are so much more open minded, if the drywallers are indeed from Europe.
Back in the days I remember a retirement party for "Jim" in our company's conference room and surprised him with a belly dancer (try doing that to-day). Another time we (including the ladies) went to Filmores.
If they are union drywallers, firing them means very little. At best they won't be eligible to go work on another Mattamy job site. But they'd be referred out to the next drywall job that puts in a request for drywallers so no big deal aside from the public embarrassment. It's possible the union could sanction or kick them out but c'mon, ya think that's the only questionable stuff going on out there?
