โ€œ...our review of these applications concluded that all contained sufficient basis for probable cause and uncovered only two material errors, neither of which invalidated the authorizations granted by the FISA Court.โ€

The problem is twofold.

What is the criteria they consider proper.

And that it's secret court.

Nah, he's just going to fire the rest of the DOJ and hire Roger Stone, Guiliani, Eric and Don Jr to run a new investigation.

So you are on side with a secret court created under the Bush Administration?

Lol. That's right there is your hypocrisy and partisanship in action. I ask what is the criteria for secret warrants due to right wing legislation. And you can't answer. You duck and cover because you will give up any principles for a political agenda.

And right now you are defending one of the worst pieces of legislation to take away freedoms in USA history. A classic piece of GOP legislation to be used against the American People.

You are Defending Bush.....

Maybe if Project Veritas looks into it B1000 will be satisfied? He seems to trust their reporting.

Post a link showing the actual criteria and who made the determinations.

All we have now is assurance from the same types who said WMD existed in Iraq.

How's Trump doing with fixing that deep state thingy?
Did he get to the roots of Qanon?
Why are there still the same number of troops in Afghanistan?
Why do you defend Barr?

All we get from you are the assurances of a Trump defender.

Why donโ€™t you ask Project Veritas?

Butler is right that the FISA court is a mess. It has been for years.
But the whole argument by the Trumpists was that this was an abuse of the FISA court. That it was an outrageous breach of protocol. It wasn't.
If Butler wanted to have an actual discussion of the problems with FISA, that would be cool. But, as with most things, this is just a tool to attack people attacking Trump. It isn't something he actually cares about, or he would pick a different case and not just shift
goal posts to a general disdain of FISA now that he can't sustain the pro-Trump narrative.

Exactly, as Barr under Trump is making those types of actions much more invasive and with less oversight.
Trump makes it worse but butler defends him for it.

I've talked about the Fisa court issues before 2016. This is just another case of it's abuses.

I believe in a Deep State. Not in the sense of a shadow cabal controlling things but a thought concencus on foreign and domestic policy with alot of "go along to get along". And that are now 14 individual intelligence agencies all working towards this with a mandate to grow it And remove any threats to that concencus. Including any politicians.

It needs to go.

Good. We agree.
FISA needs serious reform.
Propping up bullshit "It was a Russia Hoax" narratives doesn't help that.

It isn't that I don't think Russia put up propaganda. It's that I don't think it was effective. And I don't think there was"collusion".

And if every intelligence agency in the world and every news Corp in the world couldn't find a smoking gun after years of trying I think I'm correct in that assessment.

So cheating is fine as long as it isn't effective? Interesting.
As far as the smoking gun... you read the Mueller report and have decided that wasn't enough for you?
(That's ok, we know you didn't read the Mueller report.)

But this is good to know. Unless something rises to the level of provable crime beyond a reasonable doubt, you don't think it counts.
Which is why you agree Hillary Clinton is completely innocent of wrongdoing in her foundation.
Oh.. Wait...
