Does anyone believe that Al-Ahli Arab Hospital was hit by the HAMAs?

Right, but Frank doesn’t realize if it were that. Nothing would standing, cars would be strewn about, rubble all over the place. And there would be a deep enough hole, to go swimming in.
Yes as I have posted many times, the eyewitness video does not match the damage in the parking lot.
I have been looking at videos and pictures of damage caused by 500 to 2,000 lb. JDAM bombs and there is no comparison between any of those and the parking lot damage.
500 lb bombs level a single story home, while a 2,000 lb takes down high rises.
Even the damage from small yield Qassam missiles used by Hamas and the Islamic Jihad have more explosive damage with very readily apparent shrapnel damage..
My next step, when I get a minute, is to look at damage from missfired and intercepted missiles to see if any of those are similar to the parking lot damage.

It should be very simple to determine who fired the missile/rocket. Here we are two days later and still not conclusive investigation?

There’s a perfectly good reason for that.
Hamas and Palestinians can’t find any fragments of a missile they want to parade around. And this late, even if they do it’s worthless.

What kind of explosive devices go boom and leave no trace.

Really difficult to decide who was actually responsible for the bombing of this hospital resulting in the killing of so many civilians.
Israel seems to have the evidence based on the intensity of this bombing, as no craters resulted from the impact that points to Hamas' missiles.
However, did Israel actually intercept this Hamas missile that caused it's destruction?
Remember that Israel denied that they were responsible for the killing of the Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. They initially pointed the blame at the Palestinians. However, the latest is:

Israeli forces killed Abu Akleh ‘without justification’, UN inquiry says
UN-mandated body says Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh the ‘victim of the excessive and disproportionate force used by Israeli security forces’.

Given a choice between evidence of US intelligence supplemented by Israeli intelligence and evidence and supposition and conspiracy theories from the haters it is not a hard decision.

Yes, it seems extremely likely that it was a Militant missile that caused it. According to Israeli sources it was a failed attempt on launching that missile.
Either that militant who executed it was incompetent, or there could have been other circumstances for that missile to have hit a hospital when aimed at Israeli territory.

The Israeli argument appears to be the lack of blast damage to the parking lot and hospital and the suggestion that this was an incendiary device with little explosive power. The argument then states that the damage is most likely to be from an incendiary rocket than an artillery shell or missile.

Can you comment?.... You seem to be the guy who's done some work on this.

Why do you keep posting stuff I have already discounted and agreed with in previous posts?
Like I posted, The rocket in Al Jazeera video does not appear to be the rocket that hit the parking lot.
Additionally, yes, again, the incoming rocket sounds like a JDAM from the eyewitness video.
The phone call has been exposed as made up, which I mentioned as fabricated evidence.
As for the rocket, there have been no posts, evidence, claims by any sources, anywhere, at all, of Hamas firing rockets on that evening anywhere in Gaza that I have seen.
The ony ones indicated were the Islamic Jihad and the IDF.
One of these hit the parking lot.
I think I posted that at the same time you were posting, didn't realize the duplication.

If the rocket in the Al Jazeera video isn't the same as the one that hit the hospital then it wasn't Islamic Jihad. The Al J analysis uses the video that the IDF used but compares it to other videos of the same location at the same time. If it wasn't that rocket than it could only have been an IDF weapon.

And this is looking at airburst JDAM?

Meanwhile Israel took out a 1000 year Greek Orthodox church.

the IDFhad tracked a number of missels from the same locations. Those mussels are apparently not very reliable and have a fairly high failure rate. When I he engine fails it drops like a rock and if it is close to takeoff the fuselage is still full of fuel.

does anybody seriously think that if the idf wanted to take out a hospital they would hit a parking lot? The hospital was and is intact apart from damage from the falling missile.

The IDF said they intercepted the missile.
You need to keep up with the latest story, it changes hourly.

It could have been an air burst shell or bomb or something like that, that could explain the high casualty rates and lack of craters.

Like in this video, the second before the explosion, sounds like an incoming bomb deliberately fired, rather than a rogue rocket.

Compare the sound in this video:

With this:

And airburst JDAM - which per my understanding is usually used to kill many people with shrapnel.

Highly doubtful, the footage doesn't seem to show pock marks on the hospital walls roofs or cars upper surfaces.from fragmentation, as would be expected from an Israeli air-burst weapon.
Yet again, yes, it sounds exactly like a JDAM.
The smallest JDAM is a 500 lb bomb.
Here is a video explaining how powerful a 500 lb bomb is.
The blast area is around 30m wide and would have demolished all the cars in the parking lot and many of the trees etc.leaving shrapnel embedded in the mortar of the buildings etc.
I have been searching for pictures or video of intercepted missiles as well as ones with engine failures.
This is the closest I found so far to the images of the parking lot at the hospital.
A Qassam missile dropped into a town called Sderot on Nov.11, 2007.

This is a street impact of a Qassam in Sderot

The burnt out cars look similar and the crater hole is close to the same as the one next to the fence in the hospital praking lot.

Here is one where the engine section fell seperate from the rest of the rocket. It looks similar to the hole in the parking lot but whatever made the hole in the parking lot was removed before the pictures and video were taken.

You think a Palestinian rocket that was intercepted would still be intact enough to cause this size of an explosion?
That doesn't sound reasonable given the debris pattern shown on the video.
When Hamas decides to fire missiles at Israel from a densely populated city center, they shouldn't go BooHoo when shit comes back to bite their ass. Whether the missile was fired from Israel or fired from Gaza, the tit for tat going on is bound to affect non combatants living in the area.

Forgot to add this link to a video of a 500 lb JDAM bomb being dropped on a complex, you can see the destruction caused. Fast forward to the 19 second mark

Or a Hamas/Islamic Jihad's faulty, homemade miniature version of the wildly, scattershot Scud Dud rocket.
Or an intentional hit on the hospital by either Hamas or Islamic jihad.

If you think about it, either of them has more to gain than Israel does by hitting this target.

The crater does look similar to a rocket. I am yet to check out Small Diameter Bombs. Apparently they are smaller than JDAMs and cause less damage.
Yes, the smallest I have been able to find in the IDF inventory is a 250 lb which would still destroy all the cars in the lot.
I will add that my search wasn't all encompassing, just using terms like smallest bomb, missile or rocket the IDF uses.
