Do you regret getting married?

There are people I wanted to marry, but it didn't work out, then their are people who people said I should marry, and I'm happy I didn't for the sake of getting married.
DO I regret my first marriage...oh ya! Would I change if I could, no. I have 2 really great kids that I would have otherwise not enjoyed. I luv my kids...my 20 yr old son, we're best friends and my 16 yr old daughter and I are pretend enemies over her dating, but she still comes in and gives her dad a hug without warning. I wouldn't trade that for anything, no matter how difficult the divorce was.

I don't think after 30 some odd years that there is regret, but there is something missing, therefore the reason I hobby.

Thanks for the comment. I agree. I may not have got along with their Mother and we are better parents apart then together.
She's still a nutcase tho!

Hey. it's not perfect, but if I were single I would be a burnt out drugged up alcoholic ... or dead .. by now.
Of course on my way there I would have though I was having lots of fun, but No Thanks. There are other things besides sex, and if the choice came down to it, the sex would go before the wife.

NO WAY!!! Getting married to Mr. JoyfulC was the smartest thing I ever did and also the luckiest thing that ever happened to me.
Don't get me wrong--the earlier years were rough. We duked it out regularly and sometimes publicly--but all relationships need some time to sort out. In the end, it turned out that we were perfect for each other.
I believe that, if anything ever happened to one of us, the other wouldn't survive six months. That's the kind of partnership we have.

I was engaged at 15 married at 17 and a mom at about 18 1/2 --do I regret getting married---I regret not doing something with my life before I became a wife--getting a degree with hubby and 2 kids was tough, but I would of like to done more.
I am not married yet but I am sure that when I do get married,I wont go to strip clubs or hire escorts etc... Its morally and ethically wrong to do it once ur married, unless ur wife agrees with it in which case I think my wife would have a serious problem. but again we all come from different cultures.

Some days yes, and some days no. Life and marriage take effort. Sometimes it doesn't work no matter how hard you try. But, when it does work, noting can beat it. I have my kids and a wife who loves me, as I do her. We have been through a lot together. I guess that I am lucky. So, why do I hobby? Maybe, I should ask my psychiatrist.
