Maybe a year or two, and he then gradually recognise that he is actually a non-binary person and was confused that he is a woman only because he felt that he was not a man and though that the only alternative to a man is a women. At any point in time he may recognize that he is both and start to dress and behave as a man again. Good luck trying to prove that he does not identify himself as non-binary or had identified himself as a women at some point in time. It would be a lawsuit against the federal government and even larger settlement.
