You seem to not understand the challenges the Biden administration faced that were unprecedented in US history. Trump refused to allow Biden to get classified briefings. And, it might surprise you, but outgoing administrations help with the transition...something Trump's did half-assed, as per usual. You might want to minimize it, because it makes Donnie look incompetent...but those are facts.

And, if you don't think this transition period is important, look at what happened with George Bush. Due to the hanging chad fiasco, there was a delay in confirming key members of his administration (this was not Clinton's fault, nobody knew who would win), which might have allowed the 9/11 terror attacks to go ahead.
