Oh Christ. You do not want to pay taxes. There is an obvious solution to that.
There are many 3rd world countries where you do not have to pay taxes.
That may be your ideal but not everyone's. In order foe their to be greater participation on the workforce which Canada needs there must be access to affordable daycare.

In my line of work I meet a lot of immigrants and 1st generation Canadians. Many/most/all work hard and study hard. No "woe is me" from them --- too busy working and/or studying.

you may not believe this but many families need the second income and as well many women need or want the stimulation etc of work outside of the home. The situation would be totally different if men had to stay home with children.
How about we start with getting rid of the carbon tax?
How about reducing the size of government?
How about we stop renaming streets?
How about we open up government construction projects to non-union companies?
How about we stop sending money we don't have to Ukraine?
How about we stop spending money and reduce inflation so less of our taxes are needed to pay off government debt?
Somehow, 50 years ago the roads were maintained, hospitals provided good service, and people could afford homes even while paying taxes...today taxes are significantly higher...the system is broken and continually increasing taxes and creating new ones isn't fixing anything except enabling lazy governments.

I agree. At least in Canada I do not like either leader or party. I was a long time Lib until Cretien and then i voted for Harper. Now I think both leader are idiots, particularly JT and i say that as someone who would otherwise vote Lib.

No, of we did not send $B10 to Ukraine we would have had $B10 more money to spend on investments in the future.
