once again you put your ignorance of what you speak on full display

Trudeau regulated that pipeline to death
Part of the Gerald butts plan

do not pretend Trudeau and Butts did not set out to destroy the Canadian oil and Gas industry
You act like the Trudeau govt are eco nazis and ignore shit like this:

The Line 3 pipeline is an oil pipeline owned by the Canadian multinational Enbridge. Operating since 1968, it runs 1,031 miles (1,659 km) from Hardisty, Alberta, Canada to Superior, Wisconsin, United States.

Concerns about the safety of the pipeline led Enbridge to reduce its capacity. Over its history, the pipeline has been the source of millions of gallons of oil spills, including a 1991 oil spill in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, that was the worst inland oil spill in U.S. history.

You really don'ty give a shit about pollution or the collateral effects of jobs and lives and environment destroyed by oil. The correct future for the oil industry in Canada is to accept that oil demand for fuel will decline and to pivot to petrochemicals. Canada and Alberta should have a strategy to make Canada a world hub for petrochemicacl production instead of just digging it up and selling it.

Alberta remembers Pierre Trudeau’s energy export taxes, even if you don’t. When Alberta sends billions every year to Atlantic Canada and Quebec, they have a say in anything that could ruin that province’s economy.
Traitors? Close to 50% of Quebeckers want to separate, why are they at this table?
what % of Albertans wanna seperate? It would be pretty funny if AB separates and EVs take over and drive oil back down to $20 lol.

Better to buy oil from despotic countries that have zero pollution regulations?
Oil is in everything, without it, we live in the stone age.
Lives lost? Are you referring to Lac-Megantic? I don’t recall anyone dying in an Alberta or Saskatchewan oil spill.
Whoever is the next PM needs to use emergency measures to rapidly build the pipeline east. And, new refineries need to be built in Canada.
The environment concerns are valid, but our 2 trillion trees mitigate any excess carbon. If that isn’t satisfactory, we could send Trudeau to China on a mission to close their hundreds of coal fired refineries etc. That will be amusing.

since you are wrong just about all of the time
how funny would it be for Canada if EVs do not take over, AB separates and oil goes to $200 ?

Like him or not as president elect, Trumps time is currently in high demand by governors, senators, CEOs and heads of state

Why do you think a premier of a foreign province with less than 5 million people received an invite ?
about the same population as Wisconsin and that governor likely did not get an invite

eco warriors, eco Nazis , call them what you will
There is no denying they purposely and intentionally tried to kill the Canadian oil / gas industry

Putting a lunatic in charge of the environment file should tell you all you need to know

how far is Superior, Wisconsin, United States from the refineries in Ont , Quebec and the Maritimes ?

you are incredibly short sighted in your supposed thinking

BTW 1,053 km to Toronto

Concerns about the safety of the pipeline led Enbridge to reduce its capacity. Over its history, the pipeline has been the source of millions of gallons of oil spills, including a 1991 oil spill in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, that was the worst inland oil spill in U.S. history.

can you say Lac-Mégantic rail disaster ?

You really don'ty give a shit about pollution or the collateral effects of jobs and lives and environment destroyed by oil.

your grandkids will be using fossil fuels

Trying to equate the risk of a one tme shipment of 100m bbls to 30 -50 years of tanker traffic thorough prestine waters with difficult currents and weather shows you cannot be taken seriously. Any twit can see the differnce. I guess though your alcoholic haze it somehow makes sense.
Enbridges pipeline practices worse in the USA then they are in Canada? Part of that goes though Canada so it does not matter the Feds have to regulate for ALL of Canada.

BTW you forget that the Feds do defend Line 5 and agree with the plan to make it safer.

I am pretty confident in my position. Oil may go to 200 at some point, but its likely demand will peak then start to slide. But it will never be zero. Oil will always be a useful commodity. WIth no use in cars or trucks we will probablty still need 30-50m bbls a day globally

try to equate the risk of assuming renewables would displace fossil fuels against the risks of having the very enviable position of having the 3rd largest oil reserve in the world

you/

it has become quite clear the renewable / EV clown show is going to fail and fail miserably

god you are stupid
if you cut off western Canadian oil supply to the US, Trump will cut off oil supply to eastern Canada
You will be left freezing in the dark and assured of a unity crisis like you have never seen before.

Why do you think a premier of a foreign province with less than 5 million people received an invite to Mar a Lago ?

You should ditch the car really...Wait!...Do you own a Tesla?
Suddenly, it is all about my car? oracle, just stop your usual distraction and admit that we have the warmest Climate Change period in history!!

Canadian and Quebec EV rebates soon to run out of money!

gee too bad Justin spent all the money
its what he does

Like I said this will peak at about 20% new sales market penetration and then the infrastructure barrier will kick in, let alone the material requirements
Total autos on the road ????? 5-8% max

WIth no use in cars or trucks we will probablty still need 30-50m bbls a day globally
not a snowballs chance in hell
that is just plainly a stupid unrealistic statement

30 years of renewable nonsense and trillion + dollars later FF consumption has gone from 82% of global energy to 81.5% down marginally from 81.9% last year and the absolute consumption of FF has increased

1737241427525.png

you are living in a dream world

your grandkids will be filling up their cars with gasoline and snickering about what a damn fool grandpa was for promoting EVs as the future

dead like disco

Rebates are going because prices are coming down fast. You clearly have no experience with EVs, if you did you will understand why ICE cars simply will not be able to compete. If your Truck cost $120 to fill up in say 5 min, and and electric truck took 7 min and cost $12-20 where do you think things will end up? I have a free charger thats a nice 200m walk from my house. Have you heard of a free gas pump? 🤣 What do you think is cheaper to make? An electric motor and differential or a 4 cyl turbo, 8 speed auto trans, differential, catalyst and exhaust? Which do you think is easier to package?

I try to think back 30 years and renewables were not really on the agenda. NG was the future then,. We only got rid of coal in Ontario just over 10 years ago. Look at trends in China for what will happen here are they are the leaders in green energy. It will take decades to transition the grid as it took hundreds of years to build it.

Why should you get into people's personal affairs.
Once again admit that you got the facts wrong about Climate Change and its impact on the weather!!

Real climate deniers are the ones taken to court in climate lawsuit
by those committed to fighting climate change.

Like pro-wrestling where the winners are usually the bad guys climate
deniers are also the winners in the court most of the time.

Norway’s Supreme Court dismisses claim based on the right to a healthy environment and allows new oil exploration in the Arctic..............

Really, now trying to distract that you got the whole Norway versus Alberta segment all wrong?

If you want to go with Court cases for those who advocate the Climate change versus deniers, let' look closer to home.

These youngsters have more common sense than the Climate Change Deniers:

Court sides with youth in historic climate case against Ontario

.
