Ontario has confirmed 15 positive, has 12 more under investigation and 3 that have resolved. They have tested 1005 people already. According to WHO modelling there are probably twice the number circulating that have not been caught because their symptoms are not severe. My guess is by next week we will see a big jump in identified cases and more significant public health measures will be put in place (e.g some school shut downs, government recommending people work from home, sanitizing public transit vehicles). I suspect we are in for a rough patch with a few months of significant controls including quarantines. My two hopes are the virus attenuates in the summer months and there is some success in finding therapeutics (anti-HIV medication, Chloroquine etc).
