People act surprised that Rodney Dangerfield did drugs. On his return Lenny Bruce was his boss, he probably did every drug under the sun. The difference, Rodney wasn't a wildman like Lenny, he knew when to tone it down. Bruce OD'd in 1966.

You live in a fantasy world skewed by bias. Does not matter the problem, you can find a way to blame the “left”.
I love when people pretend this is a Voltaire quote and not one from a White Nationalist in the 90s.
Satire to me… is for calling out power. If you are using it to slam people at a lower station than yourself, it crosses the line to bully. Yes, sometimes the classroom bully was funny picking on the kids who could not defend themselves…. But guy was still just a bully.
Its also called evolution. I don’t expect comedy today to be like comedy in the 70’s, 80’s, or 90’s. I have no issue with comedy in those generations… but we have moved on.
In the 70’s… I loved the old dirty Italian sex comedies. Can’t make them today. I am not complaining. Making movies where high school kids spent the entire movie trying to rape the teacher, is kinda cringy. Do something original. We have elevated.

Howard Stern should retire his radio show has became maudlin. Jim and Sam are destroying him. Howard didn't fire Sal Governale, he knew he was right, Beth Ostrosky has too much influence on his show. There are no comics on his show just interviews with brain dead celebrities. The downfall started when Gilbert Gottfried was banned from the Howard Stern Show on order of Beth.
Every one of Howard's staff should worship the ground he walks on especially Robin Givens. Who the hell was she and what sort of talent does she have? I've never understood his loyalty to her but what the fuck do I know? I'd never hire her. Her laugh and annoying commentary would last about 5 minutes with me.
Sirius/XM screwed up, when I phoned them I bluntly asked if they were going out of business. To cover their mistake I got 3 months of the Platinum Package gratis. I did not know that Ron Bennigton got Jim Norton and Sam Roberts together. Prior to the Jim and Sam Show, Sam was a wrestling reporter.
There are differences between Howard and Jim and Sam, Radio Show Producer Travis Tefft isn't abused like Gary del'Abate. Howard keeps Robin on to avoid charges of racism, if Booey decides he's had enough the show is over. Soraya is beloved by the listener-ship in the same way that Robin is hated. Although now that she's part of the staff she's using the American Pie lilt less. Howard hired ex-Marine Brent Hatley who didn't understand the show and got his ass fired. In contrast ex-Marine Mike Montone is perfectly in tune with what goes on with Jim and Sam. I'm beginning to think that Soraya has a crush on him.
