Well hun, the OP is thinking of having a thing with a woman at work. Often we call those affairs and flings. Pretty much any woman who has shared a quart of Haagen-Dazs will tell you affairs pretty much end badly. If it ends in a divorce the husband will be pissed. If the guy ends it the girl will be hurt and pissed off. You may have heard that my gender is occasionally even more vicious than men when scorned. So this guy is playing with fire. I cannot imagine the affair in this case ending well.

Frankly I am also confused why men jumped up and down on a girl who came here to post that she was doing well had to be a fraud, but no one even mentioned that this story had a distinct aroma of fish.

I mentioned the bad ending of affairs to point out no one including you had mentioned it, or cried fake.

I think you're making 2 very big assumptions:

1) That you would be able to beat the offender (OP might be a huge pipe-hitting MF with rage issues)
2) That the OP wouldn't call the cops and have you charged with assault or worse

Karma may be a bitch, but it rarely works as quickly or as predictably as some would like to believe...

In late 2011 I was at a dinner with a lot of security and police types. I forget how the topic came up but one of the interesting things I learned was that you could have someone killed in Toronto and depending on your "job requirements" the going rate started at well under $10,000. Well, then he'd be no better than the OP in my opinion. Adultery is a little further down my list of offenses than murder. Besides, if consequences were a deterrent we wouldn't have any crime. People commit crimes and cross moral lines because they don't think they'll get caught. If you knew that every crime or adulterous act you committed would have a guaranteed negative consequence, would you do it? Of course not.

Might make hubby feel better though.
