I saw one of Dr. Oz's programs regarding towel use once. He recommended to mark the towel ends as "Head" and "Tail", and use accordingly.
Personally, I put on an exfoliating glove on one hand, rub some soap on a finger, clean that area thoroughly not just the surface but dipping a little farther in, then rinse or wash with high pressure sprays using a shower head, towel or blow dry that area, and you are good to go. I shower and do that about an hour before I see my ladies. A little investment in time, but the payback is amazing!
The tip is a good one but unnecessary (at least for me). Plenty of medium sized towels (I use the hand towel size) so I my main towel is never used for that purpose. I also don't think I can mark the towel in any other situation where I don't own the towel, hence using the label as a marker.
I definitely agree and while I don't use an exfoliating glove I do try to ensure that all private areas are extremely clean. I average 5 min a start-of-session shower because I want to make sure everything is squeaky clean. That's why I do feel a little uneasy when I see an MPA shower at the end of the appointment and it's less than a minute. I understand they don't want to shower long every time but I do question the effectiveness of their cleaning. And just be careful about showering too much in advance (I figure you'll shower upon arrival too) in the sense that even 1 hour of time can be enough for "stuff" to develop so I would still make sure the shower at your appointment is equally thorough.
I will of course use this specific discussion to make a point aka rant. One of the good things about most MP's is that shower time is not included. Granted for a few guys this is cause for abuse as they will take long, drawn out showers, but most guys will be reasonable. Most places allot approximately 10 min for showering (5min on each end) and if a customer chooses to abuse this their appointment time is cut as the girl entering the room is when the clock starts - so she'll sit there waiting while the guy is using up his appointment time. Then you have SP's who (mostly) have the practice of including shower time - some don't so I thank those of you who do this. For those that do include shower time, there are going to be a bunch of guys who are likely to cut some corners when it comes to cleanliness because they don't want to waste time (literally) showering. Guys might be tempted to rush showers and avoid showering after, not that the latter is of much concern. But either way, it's a practice that encourages a negative behavior. Similarly, inadequate cleaning supplies (or worse, used soap) signals a lady really doesn't care much about cleanliness - if she did she'd put forth the effort and pay the miniscule amount to have proper supplies. When I see a bathroom with many clean towels, mouthwash, a variety of washes, and other cleaning supplies, I know the lady is serious about hygiene and cleanliness.
Just in case, some people will say people should then pay for extra time so they can shower. Really? At a rate of $300/hour which is $5/min, people should pay approx. $50 more for the privilege of having adequate shower time? I think many would be more inclined to shower in advance (or not at all and just claim they did). I figure some guys don't shower after for this very reason.
Just my $1.25.
All I know is MP's have no issue with it. I've seen a couple of low volume providers and there was no issue. One would think agencies are the only ones who would avoid this so they can pack in more appointments.
Jessica you're awesome as always and I remember you did post about the sheet-skid incident many moons ago...permanently scarred my brain lol....I remember pilfering towels off the housekeeping cart when i passed to be a real hero to the lady and guarantee a fresh one for me. I did once have a lady out of towels cuz some nitwit earlier used 4 towels - 2 prefestivities, 2 post....and burned through the ladies supply (She was pissed but thought she still had 1 clean one left but forgot she used it on herself)...so I had to do a floor search and found a cart and cleaning lady was present - so I lied and said I'm in room 314 and need another towel (note not same room number as my date lol)...I for one do not mind reusing the same towel I used prior for the post festivities shower...save the planet peeps! Lol
I can understand limited towels in hotels but even so, in most cases, I don't see why it's impossible for there to be 2 towels, 1 for before, 1 for after. I find this is 50/50 depending on the lady and the location - of course I've had one lady give me back my 1st towel when there was a pile of clean ones so I asked her for a clean one (rolling my eyes in the process).
