Parroting Victor gao??? Really???
Not at all.

Its probably an interesting conversation to discuss about whether democracies, with alternating parties every few years, can manage any long term planning the way that autocratic regimes can.

US is China's biggest consumer...India, Korea, Japan, Vietnam are already knocking on that consumer door for the US...
LG, Samsung, Sony have manufacturing plants in India...Korea will always be a partner to the US US will also be a trade partner for Canada and Mexico...despite the tariffs and political tension....Canada can't afford to abandon US for China...it's not viable...geographically and historically... emotions are running high but even EU will be looking towards the US as trading partner... IMO a deal will be made...Trump will eventually cancel tariffs for everyone just to fuck with China...

By now it is easier said than done for Trump to go easy with everyone
except China. Had Trump been more reasonable with his America's friends
like beginning with a lighter tariff he might indeed gang up on China along
with U.S.'s traditional allies. Trump has lost the world's trust on the U.S. as
a trading partner. Anti-China Australia an U.S. ally has already lended support
to China with cancellation of LNG contracts. It is true that China needs the U.S.
as the major consumer of its exports. Eventually both sides have to give in.
But I think it will be Trump who has to eat the humble pie in the end.

China isn't kissing the walrus's ass on this one and all the countries should ban together and tell Trumputin to go fuck himself. Let Trump come grovelling on hands and knee and really pucker up to kiss everyone's hairy ass.

USA vs China: After shocking tariffs, growing trade war, what to expect from Donald Trump, Xi Jinping next?

Im still awaiting a response regarding why you dont think Panama is severely compromised by the CCP? Do you need me tag you in that thread? Perhaps you forgot to respond with your rebuttal to my "farting out nonsense?"

This is your answer! You can keep making shit up by making a mountain out of a moehill, but the facts are facts.

No, the Panama Canal is not controlled by China. It is controlled and operated by the Panama Canal Authority (Autoridad del Canal de Panamá, ACP), which is an autonomous agency of the government of Panama.

However, there is sometimes confusion because a Chinese company, Hutchison Whampoa, operates port facilities at both ends of the canal (in Balboa and Colón). These are commercial ports, not the canal itself. Hutchison Whampoa is a Hong Kong-based company that won the rights to operate those ports in the 1990s, and its presence has occasionally raised geopolitical concerns, especially in U.S. media and political circles.

So no coincidence that after panama severed ties with taiwan it signs up for the BRI and waves and waves of chinese state owned firms begin installing themselves in key panamian infrastructure. Man you are gullible lol.

I just think you have a serious hard-on for China and you remind me of a MAGA crying about the cats and dogs. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of their leadership but right now, I despise Trump more.

It is a dangerous game to allow your hatred for one person to cloud your own judgement and reason and be willing to accept any narrative as long as it counters trump. Extremely short sighted

I proved to you who runs the Panama Canal. You want to jump from Hutchison Whampoa is a Hong Kong-based company that won the rights to operate those ports in the 1990s, China runs the Panama Canal to justify Trumputins whim of taking voer the canal is truly a dangerous game to play.

You are very naive. Not much more i can say. Ive pointed out specific examples of chinese state companies installed all over panama since 2017. Companies in HK are now subject to the national security laws as well. Ive pointed out that beijing has bent the will of their government to have a pro-beijing stance vs taiwan. Yet, connecting the dots is too much for you

You like to blame trump for all the issues with China instead of the actual source of the problem.

You should really read some of the reports from the select committee on the CCP. They are bipartisan and do great work.

Is it? Have you read any of their work? Which reports have you read? And what in those reports do you have doubts about?
I dont trust a report from the US about another country enough to read them.
I dont read a report from China about the US either.
