Chestnut Wins Again

Joey "Jaws" Chestnut just added another page to the book on his eye-opening career. Today, in a minor league baseball park in New York, IFOCE (International Federation of Competitive Eating) held their annual Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest in front of 5000 fans, a huge crowd in these pandemic times, but nothing compared to crowds of 30,000+ in past years. Joey inhaled 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes and beat his own record of 75 set last year. This victory was the fourteenth time he has won the 4th of July extravaganza. He gets to keep the mustard coloured championship belt for another year. Kudos to a great champion.
Michelle Lesco won the ladies' championship by downing 30 hot dogs in 10 minutes. Miko Sudo, last year's champ, skipped the contest this year because she is expecting in a few weeks.
ESPN/TSN broadcast the contest for all to see. Great spectacle with outstanding gastronomic results.

Where do come up with this fact, IV. The 2015 Nathan's ladies contest was won by #5 ranked Miki Sudo, a popular and consistent women's champ with many records on her IFOCE resume.
Your friend Nela Zisser, does not appear on the IFOCE Top 50 in this or any year, although Brampton's own Meredith Boxberger was a top 50 eater back in 2012 and 2013.

Joel Hansen does not appear on the sanctioned IFOCE rankings anywhere or any time. He also seems to take a long time to eat. His world records are not recognized by the current sanctioning body, IFOCE. Correcting you, it's Miko Sudo, not Miki Sido.
