Exactly, you can't. A few years ago a high profile well reviewed agency was busted because one of the girls was underage and some other stuff. Nobody would have predicted that agency was involved in that stuff, but it was.
Going straight Indy might offer some protection but you really don't know what goes on inside an agency and some people who have a very clean and professional public image turn out to be engaging in nasty shit behind the scenes.
The police definition of "trafficked" is basically anyone working in the industry on a tourist visa. You can't tell someone's visa status by looking at them and girls aren't going to show you their passports for an obvious reason.

It seems the raids were conducted on Chalkfarm buildings at Jane and Wilson, according to CityNews. I'm surprised that there are incalls in such a location and that people would want to hobby there in the first place. These were the low end Asian incalls for 60.00-80.00.
I don't think any of the high end agencies were caught up here, as those girls are well paid and most likely not trafficked. I do know some girls have agents and they tour various cities for many agencies.
So unless you went to incalls in those areas, you have nothing to worry about until they do more raids in this case that is. I don't know what will become of RCMP bust but most likely not much in regards to clients in Toronto/GTA.
