This is the Toronto Esciort Review Board, we can't really complain about anyone going to a massage parlour.
And you are wrong as usual - Layton was NOT arrested.

The fact is that is not a fact but your opinion.

To really insult you should say, "More name calling, just shows once again how much like Ford you are"

That's not what this thread is for. But if you really want, we can start filling up posts with his terrible policies. Transit, Portlands development, social assistance, Conflicts of Interest....the only competence he's shown has been his policy of lying about everything.

It's also convenient that no one even mentions any more his awful performance with the casino attempt. What should have been a slam-dunk turned into just one more opportunity for the Ford circus to spew such utter garbage, exaggerations and lies that no one could believe anything he said about the cost, about how many jobs would open up, or anything and his ineptitude at negotiating ended up with him unable to convince council (and the public) to vote in favour of it.

The mention of Jack Layton was in response to Post # : 145 and I believe that my point was clear. Whether or not Mr. Layton was actually arrested on that occasion or simply held for a time and not charged is a moot point in context to the point raised in that post.

You're observation that I was expressing my opinion in this discussion is correct, just like the other members here who express their opinion. If you read Post #'s: 157 and 158 you may see that I was using Mr. Lomotil's words for emphasis.

As far as Mayor Ford's professional track record, please keep in mind that there are, not surprisingly, differences of opinion. For example, not all Toronto residents wanted a casino in their city. Sincerely, Jon .

Rob Ford's memory about the one year ago crack use is apparently going south already. The crack episode apparently took place last spring because events mentioned in the video hadn't happened yet a year ago. Apparently he was also throwing some derogatory remarks to the minority players on the football team he coached and gay slanders at Trudeau. It appears that Ford was stoned and relaxing with his crack pipe when some of his dealer friends saw an opportunity to make some money selling a video and up the value by egging him on with spouting his racist comments.

Obviously crack dealers make very poor friends.

Obviously Ford won't get re-elected if he runs again next year but hear there's a crowd of protesters asking Rob to step down at City Hall. I just wish all these people who have time to protest (when most people are working) would head on down to Queens Park and protest the Liberals for wasting Billions of dollars on Ornge, eHealth and the power plant scandals.

I guess someone's substance abuse problems are far more important to than the government wasting their hard earned money.

Your first point is conjecture; Although I agree completely with your second points. Sincerely, Jon .

Yes... Old fashioned values. Mayor Ford has a demonstrated track record of positive community service. No one that I'm aware of disputes this. However seriously Mayor Ford has messed up in his private, personal life, nothing about these troubles involves the city, which continues on its upward trajectory. No money is missing; everything relating to his job as the Mayor appears to be in good order. Remember, we're not talking about senators in Ottawa helping themselves to fine meals and travel- all at the expense of the taxpayers- or how the Liberals at Queen's Park have pissed away hundreds of millions of taxpayers dollars with absolutely nothing to show for it. Toronto will survive. In my view, there are other, much larger political issues worthy of all the moral indignation generated by the troubles in the Mayor's private, personal life. Sincerely, Jon .

Crack cocaine: 9 things to know

Rob Ford's memory about the one year ago crack use is apparently going south already. The crack episode apparently took place last spring because events mentioned in the video hadn't happened yet a year ago. Apparently he was also throwing some derogatory remarks to the minority players on the football team he coached and gay slanders at Trudeau. Effects on the body can include:
Thickening and constricting of blood vessels, cutting the flow of oxygen to the heart.
Increased blood pressure.
Seizures or heart failure as a result of an overdose, which can occur even after consuming a small amount of the drug.
"When cocaine is used with alcohol, the liver produces cocaethylene, a powerful compound that increases the risk of sudden death beyond the risk of using cocaine alone," says CAMH.
Some effects of short-term use of cocaine, according to Health Canada, can range from dry mouth, dilated pupils and rapid breathing, to loss of appetite, anxiety and paranoid thinking.
Other potential effects of cocaine are nausea and vomiting, elevated body temperature, shaking and muscle twitching, severe agitation and hallucinations.
According to CAMH, smoking crack, "with its rapid, intense and short-lived effects, is the most addictive" method of taking cocaine.
"However, any method of taking cocaine can lead to addiction. The amount of cocaine used, and how often people use the drug, has an effect on whether people get addicted."
According to Health Canada, long-term use of cocaine can lead to erratic behaviour, psychosis, sleeping and eating problems, impotence, heart problems, nose and sinus problems, breathing problems and birth defects.
Smoking cocaine, says CAMH, can also cause a potentially fatal condition called "crack lung," which has symptoms ranging from severe chest pains and breathing problems to fever.

I get around.
Since he still refuses to confess about his use, I wonder what the "right question" to ask Ford about cocaine is.

Anyway, was down at City Hall for today's protest, here's a couple of fun chalk messages:

I find Rob Ford to be a buffoon and a reactionary. I also think he's very bad for Toronto and its image.

That said, it's gotten to the point that I actually feel sorry for the guy as he's obviously got serious substance abuse and mental health issues. Finding out that he commits suicide at some point wouldn't surprise me at all. This guy needs help and if he's not going to get it himself then the people around him need to stage an intervention and get him the help he so desperately needs.
I think Rob Ford had probably had a few drinks or something else before he confessed. Enabler Doug had no idea he was going to fess up and Rob seriously wants to drop out of sight but Doug is still delusional enough to think he has a career in provincial politics. "You are NOT quitting, you're going to go out there and apologize to the taxpayers and talk subways if you can muster it but you're not going to ruin my shot at becoming premier"

If I remember correctly, considering how many people showed up at this rally, 100 times more people showed up at Ford Fest in Scarborough in the summer.

To defeat Rob Ford, that is still an uphill climb if just comparing the turnout to the rallies.

Would this crack cocaine admission make any difference?

I am thinking, it could be no. It may not make a difference.

The people who hate Ford, will continue to hate Ford regardless.

It is the family oriented people in Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, Ford's political base, would they turn against him because of the drugs?

Yeah...? So...? What has your remark got to do with the quoted member's comments or this discussion? Please feel free to edify us all. Sincerely, Jon .
If you had two neurons to rub together you dim witted troll, you would have noticed he was comparing Ford's mistakes to McGuinty's and wondering why people don't protest the Provincial issues. So I pointed out McGuinty has already resigned, therefore there is no point in further protest.

A majority in the city now oppose Ford. About 60 percent disapprove.

But will they feel the same way a few months from now?

We have to remember, that Flip-Flop Stinz, Red Tory, Chow The Spending Woman, and a bunch of nobodies are not going way either.

If we have the same players/candidates, and the fat guy claims to have rehabilitated himself (which he already has hinted at), then how will a rehabilitated Ford fair against the field in the election.

Man, even if we pay money, we cannot find entertainment like this.

Long Live Mayor Ford!

:)
