As I said, the odds (outside of some right-wing wet dream) of the judge reneging on the plea deal are very small. Could it happen? Sure. Will it? Probably not.
First, am I championing him? No. But I will say that the way the right demonizes him is a little over the top. I mean, there is no compassion for a human being who made mistakes and is trying to repair their lives. We don't know all that is going on behind the scenes with this. But the major thing about this is, its a private thing between Hunter (a non-public figure no matter how much the right wants to change that) and the mother (also a non-public figure).
