you have to sign Estrada for next year this guy is great, a great pressure pitcher thats what we need
Watching Estrada having a good day with the Royals,it makes me think that the Jays made a wrong decision by not included Burhle in the lineup. I am sure that Burhle is not right himself. The Royals seemed to have trouble with 'slo' pitch pitchers. Except yesterday that Dickey didn't do his job.

I haven't heard that fat lady singing yet...

Although they seem to have gotten themselves into a pickle, they still have an outside chance of beating these guys... if the Oct. 19th team shows up for today's game instead, of the Oct. 20th team.
Looks like Oct. 19th team showed up! Estrada pitched a GEM!

Royals will let this slide cause they want to win it home
Party pooper! :faint:

Ron Jeremy has nothing on Marco Estrada.

And Tulozzo has returned to the building (btw a tulozzzo is heavy hoe used to remove rocks and tree roots from farmland).

..until Friday..lol! Tulo heard me talking about how bad he is at the plate. He's been playing pretty well since. I would put him back to the 5th slot on Friday if I were the Jays manager. Or, even clean up because EE is playing hurt!
Um. I think Cola is doing just fine in the 5 hole right now as well. No need to shake things up.

No, not my favourite player. He cost them one runner and one out. Period. He is an exceptional defensive player and has saved them more runs than he has cost them. If you dispute this you are a bigger idiot than you seem so far, if that's at all possible. It seems that intelligent thoughts must dry up sometime around 12000 posts. That's a lot of thinking to post that much, and apparently the well has run dry.
He may have saved them more runs than he cost them but he also cost them that game. You just don't want to admit it. But that's okay, the rest of us know it.

Not dry yet!

You can't lose a game on a 1-base error with no one on. The same result (of that play) could have happened on a bunt single FFS! It's not as though the bases were juiced and it went off an outfielder's glove and into the stands.

Price stated that his location was off in that inning. That was the real reason.

It's a good day when you win and nobody gets hurt.

Time for the real David Price to show up on Friday for the full 9, not just 6, innings.

I love Pillar but sometimes he gets aggressive when there is no reason to get aggressive. Be happy with a double, there was no need try for a triple.

and what would the odds have been in April that the Jays would be in the series and Marco Estrada would start game 1? I know we are not there yet

Since we do like to be negative here....the only negative today was that Mr. Gibbons had his finger on the panic button. After the big 6th inning, it was ridiculous to have Price up...he starts friday

Looks like NY Mets will represent the NL. The Cubs will have to wait anther year in their "new" 102 year old ballpark.
I can't imagine the Mets doing well against either us or KC.

I agree..he would have wasted David price to start in game 6 and screw the rotation again

The strength of the Mets is in their pitching but facing young untested Cub hitters is a far cry from having to face ours or KC's hitters. Whoever wins the AL should win the WS.

Yankees chewed the shit out of the Mets in September. And the Yanks were in the process of tanking.
